- This is Barney the Schnoodle. In this video, Barney is 8 weeks old. In a previous video Barney, out of the blue, climbed up the stairs with no apparent difficulty. Now let's see how well he does going back down.
The little squeaky whimpers made me melt.

I remember the first time my dog(schnoodle) barked... she was very little and managed to make her way up 2 stairs... then she couldn't get back down so she let out her first yelp!! So nostalgic!!

We bought one! He's about the same colour as your Barney. We named him Jax. He's around 4-5 months now and although he has problems with biting, he's great. He's so sassy!

I have a schnauzer/bichon mix, she looks similiar to your schnoodle. She is the smartest dog I have ever known. We can say so much to each other by looks, body language, etc. It's amazing, she knows what I'm thinking always. Must be the schnauzer in them. SSOOOOO smart!
Barney looks almost exactly like my 7 year old Schnozzle, Tanner, did when he was a puppy minus a few differences in the face. Tanner watched this with me eagerly until Barney made it down the first two steps safely. It's adorable how he just gives up at the end

My 8 year old Schnoodle still has that wimper when he is scared. Which is pretty often. But he tries to growl and act all tough. A Schnoodle growl is not at all intimidating.

Quick tip! It's easier to teach them by starting at the lowest step first, and then elevating higher one or few steps at a time. The steep start is a bit scary for them! :)

I have a 9 year old schnoodle and hes so smart, sweet, AND BASICALLY ACTS HUMAN (its creepy... he's incredibly intelligent). His name happens to also be Schnoodle. He is and will forever be my best friend CX He's such a good boy and he gets along with everyone and everything. My Westie-poo (Also known as a Wee-Poo) Is INCREDIBLY shy and he is afraid of everything. He is a rare black color so he's such a little baller. He learns tricks so easily though, Schnoodle refuses to even try, he just stares at you XD.

I just put my miniature schnauzer who was 13 years old down yesterday as he had a liver disease and he was so jaundice and I have been looking for a schnoodle in the northern bc area as the hurt from loosing my best friend and companion is so hard.

I have a schnoodle, and it used to be just like that. But since we move alot, she has now become stressed and very territorial. Now she wont even stay in the same room as me for more than a minute, much less sit on the same couch. She growls and will sometimes bite when I do.

On the weekend I'm going to look at a few Schnoodles. He will only be 2 months old but my family will not be not be home a lot on weekdays. I leave at 9 for school and come back at 10:30 for an hour-long lunch, but then I'm back at school until 3:30. Do you think he will be okay if he's alone for possibly four hours? My friend has a litter of Schnoodles that were not planned and she has to get rid of them fast.
My Schnoodle is ten weeks old. One day out of the blue she ran all the way up the stairs like it was nothing. She refuses to go back down. Which is fine because it's bad for puppies knees to be going down the stairs a ton.
I was crying the whole time :( it's soo cute and the way he's crying a runs away :(

My schnoodle Angus was the same way at this age, only he's 9 now and I'm 19. The same little whimper. He also looked the exact same except he's black and has a longer tail. Do you find Barney cries when you leave?

stairclimbing is not good for a pup. his bones are growing, there will some problems whit it when they are stairclimbing
+abelina janssen you're dumb, stair climbing is difficult cause he's small. It doesn't alter his bones
I am getting a Schnoodle and am so happy! I have heard good things about them! How big did yours get? The breeder I am getting my puppy from has really small parents for the breeding so I am guessing she will be small! Also the parents have some unique colored eyes so I am expecting so unique eye and coat colors! Your puppy was just adorable by the way!
