It always take a few individuals with passion to sell the idea to others and drive a project. When the company forces the dev to make a game, you instead get dumpster fires like Redfall.
They are just cloning other games which are already losing popularity. Just make ARURF/URF permanent and I'll be a happy tower destroyer. And also make RGM nonstop, we love playing nexus blitz, OFA and others. Arena Mode is not for majority of noob players so its just pushing new players out of league.
This is just the start, can you imagine if they expand on this game mode like this is the PVE and the PVP version would be against other squad in a battle royale style. At this point, arena and this mode should be like TFT, IDGAF about Summoners Rift anymore.

Like a big group of people, people from the skin team and coding team, modelling team, all kinds of teams, all come together to discuss this game mode because their boss told them to do so. That's what I'm trying to say. It came true because of one guy from the SKIN DEVELOPMENT TEAM made this game and give the idea to his boss so that it would get approved. I'm not saying we shouldn't get a new game mode. It's good that we finally get a new game mode cus we waited years for this. What I'm trying to say is Riot hates giving their players other things to enjoy, they would rather waste time churning out trash skins daily then give stuff that we actually want. Yes there are items that get stronger with passives! Max hp passive is really good with Radiant field (more dmg)
