    I think Army Green TRD ties in nicely and is more custom-suited to your build. That added information on the Baha Ladder was beneficial; up to this point, the C4 Ladder was my top choice, but you managed to provide insight I had not considered. I will continue binging on this playlist, now. 😄

    Great latter. We installed a Gobi rack on our 4 runner a year ago and it came with an offset latter which is designed about the same as the Baja . At the time Gobi through in the latter at no cost with the rack, otherwise I would have gone with the Baja latter because it has the plate at the bottom that protects the paint on the tailgate.

    Really nice early mods. I just installed the same front skidplate (KDSS version) on my 2024 TRD OR, and had the dealer take off the original running boards and replace them with the OEM rock sliders when I bought it. I think the rear ladder is my next item, just like you've done :)

    Ha, ha, I found your video on the OEM Rock Slider. Excellent. If I get a TRD Off Road with KDSS, will this OEM work with the KDSS. I'm too old to assume. Thanks.

    • @VikingsGarage
      @VikingsGarage  Год назад +1

      It will only fit with modifications, it will interfere with some of the kdss lines mounting locations.

    I’m 6’2” 220 so those ladders wouldn’t work for me for a couple reasons…..one it wouldn’t hold me up lol and secondly, and arguably the more important point, I don’t NEED a ladder as I’m not vertically challenged. Lol anyways, she’s “lookin good cannonball run”!!! Love that green, but prefer my midnight black metallic or whatever Yota calls it officially lol can’t wait to see your ORP once she’s finally “done”. I’ve got a ‘21 TRD ORP with the XP Predator Pkg and I’ve added the four raptor lights in white and the blackout steering wheel emblem. Want to lift/level her next.
    God bless~

    • @VikingsGarage
      @VikingsGarage  Год назад +2

      Thank you my friend!! The whole ladder for me let’s face it, it’s mainly the look.
      Those XP predator pkg are nice.
      Soon as I get the funds will tackle the expensive suspension deal 😅😉
      Stay tuned!!

  • @Offshore1977
    @Offshore1977 Год назад +1

    Just curious. Would it be better to install the ladder in the middle of the tailgate to distribute weight between both hinges?
    Also would these OEM rock rail work with KDSS?

    • @VikingsGarage
      @VikingsGarage  Год назад +1

      Rails work with KDSS, the reason why One wouldn’t want to place the ladder in the middle is so you don’t block your visibility. This ladder is designed to be installed as shown. 😉

    • @ryanm4013
      @ryanm4013 Год назад +1

      You don’t get a choice of where to install it. You install it EXACTLY where the manufacturer tells you to install it or else you are going to have issues. Also installing in the middle is a horrible idea for visibility

      Toyota got wrong?? I don't think that they got it wrong, I think if they added everything you'd want, it would be twice as expensive. Plus, something YOU may want on it others may not. Like a ladder. No offense @VikingsGarage but, I don't see the point. Especially if you don't have any kind of rack up top. I have filled my top with paddle boards kayaks, suitcases and numerous other things, and can't think of one time I wished I could have had access from the rear. And I'm not very tall. (5'8") I load everything from the sides and attach the tie downs by climbing on the tires and folded down seats. Even if I'm throwing a strap from front to back, I do it easy enough from the side. The ONLY reason I can think of getting a ladder, would be to use as storage, for recovery boards or fuel/water cans. I'd like to hear from others on what they use the ladder for. ✌🏻 Happy Trails 💜
