I have a F150 and an a loyal Ford fan, but I can appreciate the Toyota because it doesn't have all luxury feel or look to it. It's a truck! It's supposed to be used as a truck. As a truck owner I can say there is two people who drive trucks. One person uses the truck like it's supposed to be used. It has stains, dents rust, and has stuff in the tailgate bed all the time. The person gets out wearing muddy boots. Then there is the always clean no mud nothing in the tailgate bed (ever) the person wears dress up clothes. This truck is perfect for the working man. I'm kind of ashamed The domestic truck brands have so many luxury items it makes them unaffordable for the average working man.

I agree sir, I have an 05 ranger I got as my first ever vehicle 5 years ago. I’ve beaten the living shit out of it and it has been very reliable. I’ve been looking to buying a new truck but with these prices it’s making it hard.

I never understood why people pay thousands and thousands of dollars for lift kits, tires and all of that but it’s never been off a paved road.
I like my trucks basic as well. Hell,
On my last 3 trucks I’ve had the dealership take off the running boards or step’s because I’d tear them off on stumps or logs in the bush. I guess if you got money to burn people can do what they want but it’s still hard for me to understand lol

That’s your opinion. My opinion is people like what they like and other people shouldn’t give af what someone else does with there money. If someone wants to buy a truck cause it looks nice and cool to drive as a daily driver on paved roads guess what they can do that. Also even if you do used your truck as a truck most people still keep it in good condition.. I wouldn’t want dents in my vehicle.

I love my 2023 Limited CrewMax. It's in the Army Green color and it is absolutely gorgeous. I get constant compliments on it. People are way too hard on this truck. V8s are dead and obsolete for most things... get over it. You're only going to be seeing V8s in super large trucks or sports cars moving forward. Imagine comparing a Toyota to a Ford. Sorry but Ford's quality and reliability is garbage... how many recalls are they up to now? I've been in new Ford trucks of the same generation and was not impressed at all by the interior or ergonomics... all cheap hard shiny plastic. My Toyota has leather interior surfaces and will always be more reliable than a Ford even with it's turbos. Don't even get me started on Dodge aka Chrysler. And there is plenty of power for me (I opted for the non-hybrid model). Smooth and sturdy. Also, who buys a half-ton truck and then complains about MPG? I can drive 421 miles on a single tank... not bad at all given the other stats of the vehicle.

As a Toyota fan, I like the truck not owning it, but it's definitely overpriced. 80K for a capstone? I think the 2024 Tacoma will be good, and I will recommend it more probably than this current generation Tundra. I have done a lot of research into this truck, and reception is slightly more postlitive than negative I think, but I think, while it's a really good truck, Toyota definitely could have done a better job with it. As nice as the interior is, any Ford, Chevy, Ram or GMC can be specced with equally nice, or better, seats and accommodations. The Toyota doesn't inspire confidence the way American trucks do. An F-150 with its turbo V6 is more powerful with gobs more torque for towing, plus it has the hybrid system that can power one's home, if you choose. Ram and GMC are in another class altogether.

Is Mercedes, VW, Porsche, Jeep Grand Cherokee the only SUV who knows how to build a front end? This Toyota looks horrendous, ugly. They should fire the designer who designed this grill. Why not build one that’s clean, neat, and sophisticated?

Ugly, cheap, over complicated v6 twin turbo, terrible mpg. Should have kept the ultra reliable v8..

You talk so fast that you stumble over yourself and don’t fully pronounce all the words so you can be hard to understand. You just seem super rushed
