the T-1000 fight reminds me of Direct TV and Dish Network games I've played before. But I do like the Puzzle theme rather than ticking noise from the other ports
Well done! The animations were top-notch back then. The ending is, well, disappointing. On the other hand, quite nice animations for a 15-minute game. 😁
Al82: Retrogaming Longplays & Reviews Including his face. oddly enough. I wonder why they used his portrait but then used a random non-arnie face on the actual character model.
I think I actually had it on the 64, possibly cartridge, can't remember - not a great version either, but better than the Amiga, I think? Will have to check out a video.
I think the C64 version actually had more content and was better received - the mental hospital level actually had you controlling Sarah Connor trying to escape and beating up doctors from what I remember. I'll check it out at some point :)
_"Incidentally, it seems that there is another version of the game with different graphics used for the character portraits and sliding tile sections. Unfortunately, the actual game levels are identical in both versions."_ Yeah, and I like to think that's the "original" version. The only one I had on my Amiga as a kid, same with my friends. I didn't see this new version until I started using WinUAE. I longplayed the same version you did as every Amiga T2 video I checked on RUclips had the "original" one, and I like to show stuff others haven't. Same with my latest longplay - Shinobi, I did the Sega (US) version, while every other Amiga video I saw on did the Virgin (EU) one. Here's my Terminator 2: Judgement Day longplay: watch?v=rh3zG-bK8-U And just for funsies, me drawing this new version: watch?v=6p0F-ZgMJCA
Al82: Retrogaming Longplays & Reviews Indeed, it looks much better, more suitable to the rest of the graphics, and as you say - more consistent... and thus probably the original version.
Thanks for the upload. I didn't manage to beat the game when I was a kid. Thanks to you I could see the ending.

Looking back at this is quite funny. The faces losing energy land up with chrome dome heads.
Man - it was difficult enough to watch, must have been hell to play it through!
I still remember what it was like when I played it the first time around on my Amiga 500...it wasn't brilliant ;)
I couldnt beat stage 2.. But i was only 7 years old. Thx for uploading it..
I used to boot this game up only to let it cycle through the intro. Game was crap haha

As a 8 year old kid, i could never beat this game... later i did it :) And thx for this upload :) Both good and frustrating memories :)
Who came up with the idea of the T-1000 going down in one shot or a handful of punches or kicks? Here he is more like a T-100.
Can anyone provide the MOD file of the music in the intro, please?
Why in the world does he have the longslide Colt .45 in a Terminator 2 game?
Some of the fine details aren't particularly close to the actual film ;)

I love the movie. My father once had the Atari version of the game. 9:10 is my favourite level.

Just tried playing it again. What an awful shit game. So very unfair and absolutely insane without cheats.
i didnt even manage the first enemy as a kid :D
Had this on C64 ...

I reckon the other version with the "hand-drawn" portraits look better than the digitised ones in this version - looks more consistent :)

Ok but what was the point of creating two versions if it was the same damm game?? What were they thinking (Avgn citation)
I remember that shitty expansive game
It's an Ljn game. :(
shreknet Its an Ocean game, LJN only published
@@OswaldMiyake35 Even worse.
