I love your style of coloring and I agree with other comments on how relaxing it is, I am a chronic pain sufferer and I use adult coloring to help and it does...thank you for doing what you do
I just want to say a HUGE THANKYOU for posting the information on how to slow videos down! Who knew?!!! I am new to using RUclips and this setting will make such a difference to my viewing and learning.
If you look in the lower right corner of Chris's video you will see a tiny wheel icon. Click on it and you will see speed options come up and you can slow down the videos.
It is the same on my iPad. Just go to the video and look in the lower right corner. You will see a tiny wheel icon. Click on it and you will see speed options.
I just noticed this video... wow It's so very peaceful looking, the choice of color and your style make my heart happy. Thank you as always for sharing your stunning talent with us. What a blessing 🥰
Brilliant video, so many techniques shown. You are a superb colorist. Thank you for making your videos to inspire and teach us, it takes time to do that when you could be doing more colouring instead. You are very kind sharing your talent and skills.
WONDERFUL! I just start to learn how to color and your video is just a huge help......please continue to make videos like this showing the numbers of the color pencils you use.
Am so looking forward to purchasing this book this is the second picture I have watched you complete and I am mesmerised, you are so calming thank you x
Hi Chris. I am so excited to see this video. It is amazing. I saw you color some flowers a few days ago from this book and ordered it. It just arrived today. Can't wait to start this one. Your coloring is amazing. So glad I found you.
I am a new subscriber so forgive me if I am asking questions that you may have already answered in another post. First do you pick your entire color palette before you begin or do pick it in sections as you go? Second if you were to sit down and do an entire picture like this ,,without breaks :) how long would it take you? Third and this is something I'm really curious about,, Prismacolors are known for developing a waxy bloom after only a few layers of blending,,,I've seen you blend in numerous times with a variety of colors...and yet you seem to avoid getting that bloom,, HOW????? Your work is lovely! I can't blend more than 3 or 4 colors before I have an oil slick!! And lastly Thank You SO MUCH for taking the time after each segment and showing the pencil colors and numbers that you've used. For someone like me with minimal talent but the ability to copy well,,,,it truly helps knowing the colors so I can make ,,at least,, an attempt at copying what you've done. Imitation is the highest form of flattery,,,:) I haven't decided if I will be using Prismacolors mostly or another line,,(I do love Polychromos) I've recently tried Derwents Colorsoft and I adore them mostly because I don't seem to get that bloom like Prismacolors. But thankfully once you have a large set in any line finding a color to match what you have used is fairly easy.... I guess that was just a long way of saying Thanks.. I enjoy your work very much and can't wait to get my coloring book in from Sweden!!!
+beth otoole 1. in section 2. I do break many many times and I finished this page in 2 days 3. what's bloom mean? I think the reason I can blend many times is becos I don't press hard on the beginning layers. And thank you for subscribing to my channel :)
As always I luv yr work Chris cheng. I will enjoy colouring with yu on this Life of Bees, but it is very slow using pencils identified only by the prisma number but not the name. Maggie
Wonderful tutorial! I am reproducing your design but I do not find in the video the colors that you have used to paint the violet flowers. Can you please tell me the numbers? Thank you for showing us how to do it !!
I love watching your videos, but it would have been nice to see the colors/numbers of the pencils you used for your flowers...especially since they are such a focal point of this page.
