They should 100% be banned. The fact that they had to do a man hunt to figure out you had placed them all over the city. If a crim gets banned for keybinding switching seats how is this not 100x worse. It's not even like it was a in the heat of the moment mistake. This person went out of their way to use a broken item to try and prevent server wide RP.

This was literally two cops playing a prank on another cop... I don't think they thought this would in anyway be seen as malicious or powergaming
@@ashhaul Except after they were done using them, they not only left the cone but placed more around the city while knowing that they stay until someone manually removes them even past tsunami. They left the cones knowing that they’d be hit even after the SBS shit, that’s both malicious and powergaming

I agree others have done worse and don’t get punished but that doesn’t mean every cop that does bad should get a free pass to make it “fair”.. I don’t think a permaban is necessary but a few days wouldn’t hurt, either way his current punishment isn’t really a punishment he’ll be back on duty real soon.. To clarify he encouraged the person he was with in both situations to do it, in the first situation as Tim he did try to place a cone it just gave him an error code so he stopped trying.. Both vods I believe are still up..

This literally doesn’t make sense you can take a crims prio for literally doing rp like dean and jay situation when jay had never made any other mistakes previously anyway, but when cops make a huge mistake and break a rule because there a good officer they should only get a little ban 💀

If that was a crim they would have been banned and prio taken away. A cop does it, suspended for some days and a slap on the wrist. Even if they get demoted, we all know they’ll be back up to their original rank in a matter of time.

That's a bad take from Baas. How is a 14 day suspension gunna do shit? You HAVE to fire them to set an example, even if they're just "joking around". This wasn't just 1 cone placed on a jump, a jump that TONS of crims use for getaways. This was MULTIPLE cones spread throughout the city. There was either CLEAR malicious intent or BLATANT disregard for others, both of which shouldn't be in a position to be a diet admin.
Cops on the server need to know there are real consequences to thewir actions. they need the full 30 day, plus an actul ban, other wise cops will jkust think, oh if i do this itll be worth the slap on the wrist, kekW rolll with the punches

Let’s penalise a *SERVER* rule break with ic punishment because they’re pd but any *SERVER* rule break from a crim even if it’s blatant that it’s all in good intentions and insta 7 day
Basically a cop breaks a rule they get suspended but can still play the character on server, a crim breaks a rule or even skirts a grey line on a rule, banned no questions asked.
For anyone who thinks "It's PD SBS why can't they have fun". Firstly, it's power gaming. Plain and simple, textbook power gaming. But it also could have a massive effect on serious RP and that's very different to common crim SBS. Someone's got a massive warrant. Over the last few weeks they've been going crazy, torturing cops, shooting cops, robbing shit without masks and building up a massive warrant. They get spotted a chase breaks out, their cars getting beaten up and they're about to make a last ditch jump to ditch the bulk of the cops and hopefully get into a different car and slip through the cops fingers once more. Everyone watching is on the edge of their seat immersed in the hope that either their favourite cop streamer pulls of a pit and boxes them in or the crim viewers watch in anticipation waiting to see what happens when they take this jump. Then suddenly they smash into a 3 foot high, plastic cone that some tit put there to troll, fly out the windshield and die. Their huge arc that could've had a tense and satisfying ending ends up being a shitty, griefed cluster fuck that's either boring or awkward.
That is miles different to Francis shooting Ramee and Ramee blowing up every car in their cubby. I personally don't think that should be happening either but the two have vastly different effects on RP. It wasn't even targeted which makes it even worse. Would've been ok if it was a cop impromptu placing it to troll their friend who they knew 1) wasn't bothered by the consequences 2) would find it funny. It was basically griefing every crim who took that jump and there was clearly malicious OOC intent most likely fuelled by crims regularly escaping through those spots. Such a shame to see Thatch be the one involved considering he's one of the few non robo cops. Massive fuck up from someone I thought was a positive addition to NoPixel.

I think suspending for 30 days and bringing them 2 ranks down is a good way, maybe 21 days as an IC punishment. OOC should be the normal deal with power gaming

I understand what he is saying but I don't agree with it. He broke the rules and I bet he knew he should not have done what he did but still did it. Cops not being fired after all this is the reason why the PD is in the state that it's in. They see it more as a "I don't want to be a dik and fuk that guy over cuz we friends". Keeping people around that do that kind of stuff will only be a bad thing for the server as a whole in the long run. I think he should get at least a 10-day ban and be fired from the PD. When cops realize they can actually lose their jobs then they might actually stop doing dumb sh*t.

Gate can be det coded and there are multiple ways of getting into the compound other than the gate.

Baas tries to be “unbiased” but that hasn’t been the case for a while now. The man will literally defend his fellow dogshit officers or find some sort of justification even if the thing they did was ungodly wrong... we have heard it plenty of times where baas and HC of pd wants to work together with crims to change X thing or have crims voice their concerns but has there been an actual initiative or real push for anything. Baas and HC are all talk. Baas as a cop is great but shit as a mediator for the longevity of pd vs crims. Imo baas is unfit to be chief and admin for some time now. Turns a blind eye whenever a bad light is casted on pd. Most things he says as a rebuttal for crims are all very PR statements and not genuine response. A total pd wipe or server wipe would be so beneficial for Nopixel. Let’s be honest “most” cops on the server are only there for the WL and nothing else. This way it would flush out people who are deemed “unfit”. Actions from pd in the last 2-3 wks have escalated to ungodly behaviors. Crims have been pretty tame tbh. Even admins and devs are experiencing the same treatment. Wondering why nothing has been said or done. Admins and devs must be ignorant or something. Crims - no risk no reward. MDM's Jay took a cop on a ride around at gunpoint on some SBS and after RPing for a while with him he shot the cop down. Cop was an admin, reports him for some reason (because it wasn't RDM or NVL or anyting like that) and Jay loses his prio. Yet these cops openly cheat abusing mechanics and power gaming but they have been a good pixelated cop so give them a little tap on the wrist as punsihment. What a joke it all is

New cop cones and roadblocks were made unbreakable and immoveable to anyone that wasn't a cop, so cops started placing them at jumps and getaway spots around the city to block people from taking them.
A single cone that's immoveable, invincible and unable to be interacted with could stop a Bugatti going 190mph like a solid block of concrete at the jewelry store jump.

There’s a difference between SBS and power gaming. It would be one thing if cops did SBS with criminals and were to go easy on them, this is putting a prop that cannot be removed that hinders others from continuing their chase and forcing someone to “roll with it” because the person who is responsible for it is not involved in the situation
