I had no idea that you had gone to law school and were a lawyer!! Knowing that makes me feel super seen - I'm always struggling to find this balance between my creative/fun side and my work/analytical side, and seeing you do it so well gives me hope that the balance is possible for myself ❤ even if you're not doing legal work full time anymore
for those who are making their own vision boards-you should try to include your own pictures on your vision boards!! selfies from days you felt your best, pics of things you love, etc. that’s what i’m trying this year!!
Such a lovely idea!! Often my vision boards are quite unatainable, but when you're starting with a version of yourself you've already "been" it could be much easier :)
“Oops is better than what if” is exactly what I needed to hear going into the new year. I made a resolution to say yes to things more but anxiety gets the best of us. This was really helpful 😊
Hi Cozy K I had a very productive and slow day I am reading legends and lattes I only read one chapter Today I did the dishes twice I had a good full breakfast 🍳 and then I ate lunch at 2pm 🕑 I had delicious caffeine coffee drinks all day I just had some decaf coffee ☕️ to end my day right

Nothing in my life is cozy. I wake up at 5:30, get my work out in, am at work by 7:30 am, get home between 5:15 and 5:30, cook, run errands, try to have a social life, pack a lunch, and maybe have 20 minutes to play video games or read. Your vlogs are perfect when I’m on the treadmill. I aspire to have a cozy day in 2024.
Maybe try to convert some of your errands online if you can, such as grocery delivery. Also it’s okay to say no to social activities to unwind and be cozy. It’s important to have time to yourself to relax

What app do you make your vision board in? I’m trying to make mine…I’ve been collecting my photos this evening! A couple of my goals for 2024 is to start streaming in Twitch, get a better handle on my health (ie advocating for myself at doctor’s appts more), and to get my crochet/office organized so it’s actually functional.

My goals for 2024: (i’m a law student, part of why i was drawn to your channel)
1) i want to spend my time studying focused on studying. Ive found that i spend 6 hours a day in front of my books but only 1 or 2 collective hours studying. As a result ive neglected my personal relationships when it 100% doesnt have to be that way.
2) Believing in myself more. I want to apply for more opportunities that i previously thought i had no business doing😂. Like different exercise classes, jobs, volunteer opportunities.
3) keep track of my finances throughout the year. I’ve already started but i want to get even better☺️
Shows: this yr i REALLY enjoyed the Scott Pilgrim show on netflix. It was beautiful, artistic, funny, and fresh😋.

my main goal for next year is to spend my time more productively. set time limits for social media. consume more beneficial and curated content, things that i like and don’t stress me out. stop putting things off and instead blocking out the distractions. i have a lot coming up the next year and a half, so i know making this lifestyle change will be extremely beneficial to me, my happiness, and my stress levels.
instead of mindlessly scrolling through instagram or tiktok, instead id like to read, color, draw, crochet, play games, or even watch a show.
Two goals of my biggest goals for 2024 are "health" and "consistency".
For health, I want to have better exercise and eating habits. I specifically want to focus on building strength.
For consistency, I have a business that I'm trying to get off the ground, but I'm really bad about marketing/social media. I also just need to be more consistent in the "creating" aspect. I need to commit to a balanced schedule that encourages productivity while minimizing burnout. The frequent burnout has been killing productivity for me this year.
Ken, your content is always relatable but this one actually sounded like you were reading my thoughts/diary aside from the lawyer/content creator bits. I'm in a big transition phase and I know things will work out no matter what but change is scary and I'm trying not to let it stop me. thank you for this video, the cozy hobby vlogs are what brought me here so they're always extra cozy. I hope you have a nice holiday season and end of the year

I'm so glad you baked those cookies in the normal way. Twice now I've seen youtubers try to put the cookie dough that you got on top of a different kind of cookie dough and then bake the whole thing together, i guess it must be a trend. Then they get surprised when it doesn't end up baking properly, when they're clearly using about twice as much dough as the instructions call for...

I’m adding outdoor space with wood table, chairs, an umbrella . 2 wood lounge chairs and a table cooler as well as do more crocheting
I decided to make some Christmas ornaments for friends and family, little stars with mismatched fabric and embroidery floss. there's something so calming about sitting and watching a stream in the background while I stitch these stars. Is a super cozy thing to do...accompanied by plenty of kitten cuddles and tea.

One of my goals this year is to buy a new game every month and game whenever I would normally be watching tv. I feel like I just zone out too easily when I'm watching shows which makes paying for a streaming service not worth it. May as well pay for entertainment that I can stay engaged with since I'm the character in the story. I'm also aiming to have 2 friend dates each month to stay more in touch with my besties face to face!

Become the person you want to be, because of you I've started making a moodboard to be my lock screen for every new season. Every three months is just sustainable enough for me to keep up with and makes me feel so much more connected to the changing seasons!

Intentions for 2024 are to get my butt back into crafting, I used to run a Craft Club but since 2020 I haven't done nearly enough. To do more cozy hobbies. And to get on top of my household chores and home maintenance....and definitely to make time to watch CosyK Vlogs 😅🤎
Oh and to devise a weekly menu for our family as I buy most things on a day by day basis....my kids are constantly asking what's for tea....and my saying I don't know. So I want to be more proactive with that. Your vlogs inspire me Kennedy, thank you🙏🏼🤎

I’m in Ireland and if I want to bake, then everything is from scratch. Never seen what you used. I’m jealous at how quick it is. I expected you to get scales and flour etc out when you said you were making cookies hehe ❤

I can find ready to bake cake batter at the supermarket (in italy), but it's not as fun and satisfying as baking from scratch :)

I had a similar experience to you, but I was an English major, but still, most of my time was reading, analyzing, writing essays, and I felt burnt out with reading, but I’m slowly getting back into it 🤎🧸

Hey Ken, you just asked if we have these fully pre-baked e.g. cinnamon rolls in other countries and it’s so funny because I just recently thought about that.
I‘m from Germany and we do have pre-made dough for things such as crossaints or rolls that you just pop in the oven. But we don’t really call that baking as far as I know. There’s also pre-made ‘formulas’ for cakes that you only need to add the liquids to but, again, I don’t really believe that’s considered full-on baking.
Here in Germany or at least in my social bubble, baking is considered the full process from start to finish.
That’s also why I always have to smile a little bit when Americans make these ‘christmas cookies’ because where I come from, christmas cookies refer to a huge variety of baked goods all made by hand from scratch, often taking up hours of our time:)

Hi Cozy K I just bought a planner at target today and it was only 3 dollars and twenty four cents and I wrote some goals and things to do around the house 🏡 and it also has a healthy habits tracker and it has boxes for Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday and weekends and I wrote down each of the things that I am doing for the week I cleaned the bathroom I decluttered my shirts 👕 I also cleaned and decluttered the bathroom I vacuumed my room and I did the dishes ❤😊 i crossed off the stuff that I did in my planner 😊

I started my resolutions at the start of December because I know that if I don’t act on motivation when I have motivation, I probably won’t do anything at all. Yay! Finally completed a vision board. You inspired me Kennedy! I just wanted a way to put my list of goals (or…things I really want to focus on this year) into a visual queue. There's a lot of goals for 2024 I have 😅 but I think 2 top ones are:
1) improve health (exercise/sleep/diet)
2) improve productivity (time management/writing/home improvement/music/art)
One of mine and my hubby's fav shows is Severance!! Highly recommend if you like moody mysterious stuff. There's tons of shows I could recommend though. 😅

I appreciated the moment you brought up not wanting to do what everyone else is doing and staying true to your personal preferences. As a viewer there are times when the trends and hype behind certain products or behaviors gets sooo overwhelming and honestly boring. I think some creators don't realize that people will watch and support their content no matter what they post - most of us choose to watch people because that person is unique and compelling, not the product or lifestyle they promote. I know I personally don't care if the creators I follow don't keep up with trends, or they like things that might not "get views" - the right people will always find it! Isn't that enough?
My favorite creators do what they want no matter what, and I don't always like it, but I always support them through it because being genuine about who you are is a special and rare thing on social media these days.
I started following you because of that energy actually. Keep choosing yourself, and your peace and joy. Happy holidays 🎉

Hi CozyK! Two things on my vision board for 2024 is to get a ps4 and to spend more time reading ebooks instead of just relying on audiobooks. Both are already happening my brother in law is giving us his old ps4 after Christmas!!! and I’m so excited for all the cozy gaming to come!

One of my goals for next year is to become a content creator 🫢 I’ve been consistently watching RUclips for about 16 or more years now. and this is probably the one thing I actually want to do and try my hardest to accomplish. Regardless of doing it part time or full time, I want to break out of my shell and be a part of this community I’ve admired for so long.
