- Its possible in Tears of the Kingdom without mods to take on three Lynels at once. By setting travel medallions behind two Lynels in the Floating Colosseum and ancient arrowing them, we can set the other 3 to release all at once. We do so without taking any damage.

heck yeah, multiple lynels at last. they made sure lynels were more spread out in totk so i wasn't sure if it was ever gonna happen, but if it would, then the one place it could happen is the coliseum and it is glorious that it happened!!!

Sooner or later. Still even with 5 lynels it would be still easy to beat those with no damage. For those who are already accustomed to master mode will find totk to be easy
It is, unfortunately impossible, without mods, to have 5 Lynels at once. If you want to fight the 3 Lynels, the description says how to do so, tho.

Great use of rockets and time bombs, didn't realise they could be so effective in combat.
In order to have three lynels you have to place a travel medallion in the cage of the blue lynel and the silver lynel without armor. Both cages to the left of the chest in the coliseum are the blue and silver lynel that need to be taken out. Finish the coliseum regularly then set the travel medallions in those. You can either wait for a blood moon or force one by using a 5x multi shot bow with opal on a breakable rock. Shoot 5-6 pieces of opal-fused arrows at the breakable rock to force a blood moon. Then, teleport to the cages. The lynels won’t fight back and for some reason the arrows I used against them don’t work, so throw an ancient blade at their torso. Then, when taking them both out ascend through the roof and go to the center where the chest usually is to let out the regular lynel.
The reason it has to be the blue and silver (without armor) lynel is because there are only 5 of them. When taking out the regular lynel, the blue one is let out. When taking out the blue one, the white one is let out and so on. So this wouldn’t work if trying to take out the armored one since there’s no lynel after it to be let out.
So basically the death of one lynel leads to the escape of the lynel stronger than it until the 5th is defeated. Do what you want with this, like if you only want to fight 2 lynels at once instead of 3. If anyone is still confused just lmk I could explain more

I love this battle. It's so natural and real. I get tired of seeing gamers using cheats and all that and having titles saying 'Gleeoks Are Easy' etc - then the person is humble bragging and the whole thing doesn't look natural, like parts of the video have been edited or something. But this battle here is totally natural and realistic. Well done on defeating the 3 lynels together 😎😎😎. I struggle a lot defeating 1 on its own lol. I doubt very much I'll be able to get that majora's mask but oh well lol.

:) I love it! So I think it’s Y but maybe X ( without it in front of me I don’t know) but it will do a flourish while shield surfing. And if you have a bomb shield for height and do a flourish right as the bomb explodes it is worth infinite style points and link will laugh and make that sound, then he instantly goes into a dive to get that really cool falling shot bullet time look :)
@@red_catharsis Thanks for breaking that down! I seriously want to try this. After watching this video, I've had way more success with parrying and I just recently learned about diving into bullet time. It's so cool how much there is to discover in this game!
@@Sweetandsourman absolutely man! RinHaraSakai is def one of the botw and TOTK Goats. Well worth watching his other videos on this channel where he breaks down how to do some really cool tech in game :) SBR tech is really great for quick bullet time, but there are a million little things you can do in these games, the depth of the combat is nearly infinite and I’ve only even scratched the surface! Even after hundreds of hours in botw I’m still finding my way down the rabbit hole that is the combat in these games :)

Yep. And people praised Breath, pffff lol!! Breath is _nothing_ compared to this Masterpiece honestly! Total Overkill on 1 sad Guardian , rinse & repeat is all it had.
And this is just high level Combat on the side, totally aside from the Dungeons etc of the main story!! _And_ then you have all the Zonai device bot videos to explore. It honestly deserves GOTY like no other, simply too much fun.

who is impressed at how skilled this guy is? using every trick known to every TOTK sweat... but I would've saved up on Gibdo bones and get a 40 damage attack bonus for my arrows, but great job anyways!
I don't even bind stuff to my arrows unless I need to for a puzzle. Not even because I don't have the stuff to bind but because I forget about it
As a BotW sweat I'm not impressed. I'm pretty sure RinHara isn't impressed nor as satisfied as BotW considering he contributed a lot to the advanced combat system in BotW
@@s3eriousbl9ck26mastering real gameplay features is a thing you know. Not everyone is a BOTW glitch sweat, so yes, this is impressive by normal standards.

Fight in the colosseum as normal, but when you get to each lynel on the left, place the medallion in the cage. Once you’re done, force/wait for a blood moon, then warp to each medallion, and chuck an ancient blade at each left lynel. Then come back to the colosseum from the outside to trigger this triple lynel fight.

What really upsets me is that if you hit a Normal gloom enemy with the Master Sword, is doesn’t have the Blue Hit visual effect and the unique sound like it does when you attack Phantom Ganon or Ganon himself, this effect and the unique sound always played if the sword was glowing in botw, just the effect would have been enough for me

Rin is probably the best Botw/Totk player in the world,
Imo AxK was the best all around player and probably top 2 in BotW. Kara and Korokii are definitely up there. Rin is good but BotW was flooded with true combat gods. I'm not to into TotK combat to know but it being so easy makes it so unimpressive compared to BotW.

Quickly doing a shield surf with a rocket shield won't give it enough time to shoot you straight up and instead it will propel you forward

No this is not a mod nor you need to do all that travel medallion stuff.
Honestly I dont know how to make this happened 100%.
But I believe it depends on how strong you are when you reach this fight. It happens in others places where instead of a strong enemy you get a weaker color or just less enemies.
*Might be how far you progress in the main quest.
*Might be how strong your clothes are
*Might be how strong your weapons are
*Might be depending on what kind or how many materials you have
*Might be how strong or how many companions you have
Or something like that. But yes for me if you didn't hurry up and killed them the doors kept opening.

0:17 how can jump and change direction shield surfing?
Shield pivot jump
1) center the camera behind link
2) make link face whatever direction you wanna shield surf in and start walking in that direction (but don't move the camera)
3) press x(jump) and r(throw) at the same time to jump (for the shield surf) and r (to face forward)
4) while still midair, press zl and a (because ZL+X+A = shield surf, you are midair because you jumped with X) and it will make you shield surf
If my explanation was unclear, there are videos on youtube that show how to do it

Apparently not, if you fail the lynel fireball parry but still have your shield up, you won't take damage
He didn't parry. He just held ZL and when he gets hit by the fire, the animation u saw is what happens. You don't take damage that way unless the shield breaks

Ich renne immer mit meinem Ritterschwert an dem irgendein Klumpen oder ein Steak befestigt ist in den Kampf. Jedes Mal fühle ich mich toll nach einem Sieg. Bei 3 Lynels würd ich die Switch ausschalten.
