Watching old replays is kinda encouraging too to see how much I've imporoved! (I really need to watch my vods against Blanka lol he destroys me everytime) Also your analysis videos have taught me a lot abt how to analyse my own mistakes! Love your videos!
This is very helpful and informative, thank you for the video! Glad to see SF6 recieving new members of the FGC, I feel like it's the most fun and accessible out of all FGs for people who never played FGs before, because of World Tour, Battle Hub, Modern controls and much more.
Thank you for watching and leaving a comment! :D I totally agree, I’m a sucker for single player so WT pulled me in. I’m glad SF6 was my entry point bc so far the community has been nothing but supportive!
@@_kmiyako_ Yes man, World Tour has so many subtle ways of teaching you to play FGs, like the specific enemies having specific patterns and ways to beat, that happens with real players too, but it's more complex. Funny enough, the way to make CPU more useful to teach new players is to make it less like real players, crazy.
Nice video! And remember guys, to whoever wants to join FGC: just because it's hard doesn't mean it is not fun. You can have a great time with fighting games too! That start of your journey was fun to watch. I hope we can see more of whatever you like to play/to do! Thanks for the content, Kmiyako!
Agreed 100%. The past few months of learning and trying new things has been the most fun I've had learning a game in a while! Thank you for watching and sticking around!
I found arrow-kick to be really... strange to use. In my hands, it feels the most unrelyable anti-air I could use because of the late timing reaction. I often do standing jab to counter all Cammy's hooligans (learned with Kaution's video), but now I have more things on my arsenal thanks to this vid! I will try to exercise more my arrow-kick. I am doing a lot of air-to-air since my arrow-kick and tensei aren't doing that much justice as anti-air options.
Watching your replays and realizing your mistakes is a great way to learn even if it is tough sometimes to see the mistakes you make. A good idea is to focus on improving one aspect of your game at a time, so everything becomes muscle memory. Focusing on consistently anti-airing jumps with Jamie's DP and countering DI's with your own will get you a long way, and will force the opponent to start playing Street Fighter.
Thanks a lot for the cammy info, she is one of the characters I have the most trouble and now I understand how to counter her a little better, before I kind of just played it by ear, good luck on ranked!
any chances you can review a match vs luke? i'm also a jamie main who's learning sf6 as her first fighting and the fucking guy just never lets me get in close to him, especially with the overheads? great video!! i need to keep reviewing my matches
I've been having alot of problems finding matches in the South East States too. Not exactly your error. But just not finding any players to fight in casual or ranked. I have to go to the Hub most the time.
Cammy is my weakness. Just had the situation where her divekick beats mine even though she's a full character's height beneath me mid air. Hate that hurtbox.
@@_kmiyako_ Yeah it really can be. Super impressive that you got to masters so quickly after never having played fighting games before. Fighting games can be so hard.
Ah actually I haven’t tried rank yet! I’m probably veeery far from it too haha. Been too baby about it but I’ll make a video to find where I land soon ^_^
Great video ! watching your old matches feels like hearing your voice in a video somehow lol
It really does 😩 like dang that was me, I did that. Also thank you!

For sure, looking back is great to see how far you’ve come and also where you need to go next!
Glad they are able to help you :D

It can be for sure, I don't think I can do it consistently either but it's an option ^_^ Anti airing is hard I struggle with it too.

Very true! I still struggle with both of those but I will try xD
It's a whole different beast playing against a real, human opponent. Well done overcoming the fear and good luck on your journey, great video!
It really is, I still struggle with nerves but hoping to get over it with more exposure. Thank you for the kind comment!!
love seeing your journey into street fighter, its not my first FG, but the first street fighter Im learning, the lab will always pay off
That's awesome, what was your first FG? And also agreed, the lab works wonders!

Np! Happy it helped even a little and thank you!! :)
Ayy fellow Jamie player!

great video!! i need to keep reviewing my matches
Thank you and ofc! I'll add it to my content list and hopefully find some solutions that might help you with the matchup.

Ah that's unfortunate, hope the matching gets better for you!

Same here and that’s actually insane 😭 hate to see it.
Jamie is one of the lowest tiers in the game, props for sticking with him!
It's rough sometimes but he's cool so it's worth it xD
God cammy is obnoxious 🤣 i wish we could divekick like her! Do you ever plan on doing viewer battles or review viewer replays?
Oh to have a good dive kick 🥲 and yeah possibly in the future! Don’t think I can review viewer replays though bc I’m just not credible enough xD
That's fair 😤 i feel i would learn a lot from a second opinion anyways so do thino about it!
How you feel about fighting games now, will you keep on playing?
Yeah! It’s been a lot of fun learning and something I want to keep improving :D

fighting games have a massive barrier to entry😢I swear u gotta have a Harvard phd learning all those combos and performing them consistently
It is really hard! But that makes it all the more rewarding once you finally get it down :D
@@_kmiyako_ Takes hardwork, dedication, an extreme amount of salt and a lack of personal hygine lmao.
Absolutely! lol
Man the matches I could have saved if I knew you could just jump hooligan
Yeah, if they abuse it from afar yes xD
Im jamie main. Pls fight me a couple rounds. Greetings from Germany
Maybe one day I’ll do viewer battles so you can join then! ^_^
