awesome video also sorry for putting a link but this is another side switch combo ruclips.net/video/j_AMjz_nTeI/видео.html its really useful something you can show ppl how to do : )
@@JeremeSanders np : ) I wanna see all the jamie mains do great I normally go for this if I know I can burn them out after super and dr 2hp 2lp di and depending on the situation I go for 2 drinks or 1 drink and go for the win if I know it’ll kill lol
@_kmiyako_ Thanks, the climb all the way from bronze was tough, even more with a character like jamie, but it was worth it, he's so fun to play that moments of frustration get drowned out by the cool shit he can do :)
Thank you! I also had the exact same realization once I started to meticulously take notes on what players do and trying to understand why they do it. Wishing you success in your learning! :D
Hey guys little thing about jamie. If you're at drink level 3 he gets a command grab, and you can frame kill into command grab out of a loooooooot of combo enders. The magic window for your command grab being guranteed to land (unless they do an invincible wakeup like lvl3 SA or OD DP) is 5-7 frames. Depending on the ender different buttons will be easier to get into that plus frame range. It's not something you want to do too often because the opponent really can just go crazy on their stick if they see it comimg, but it's really cheeky and will make them a little scared to block when you get them knocked down.
Side note that I'm *pretty* sure the safejump mixup is fuzzy-guardable (since the overhead and low hit on different frames), but I never see people block it correctly, so still definitely worth using!
Still couldn’t manage the tensei kicks or meterless sideswitch unfortunately (i’ll keep trying) but you helped me figure out how to make my own side switch with 2HP drc into light DP. Thanks for the lab inspiration :)
Of course, I'm happy to help! I'm glad you were also able to find your own :D The meterless one is definitely hard, it probably took me 50+ tries just to get the dash under so I feel you. I'm sure you'll be able to get it down eventually ^^
@@_kmiyako_ looks like from a bit of labbing nearly every cancellable normal except 5HP and 5HK will let you do the side switch I just figured out, and you just do the DP motion normally rather than the half circle so could be worth playing with.
@JeremeSanders I was labbing the side switch after the video and what helped for hitting the dash is, whenever you body aligns with the opponent's head press HK and insta dash then wait like, half a second and do HP. I am still having trouble with the dp but I always had trouble canceling HP into anything. Hope it helps!

Whoaa that side switch is so sick!! I'll pin your comment so others can check it out :D
Yeah this is insane! Need to try more but do you have any tips to hit the 5hp after the drive rush?
Ah figured it out for me, walking rather than dashing got it more consistent :) thanks for the inspiration!

I'm learning more about Jamie from this video than I have in months. Thank you.
Ofc, I’m happy that you were able to learn from it! :D
Love the spaced elbow trick - I figured it would catch mashing, but didn't know it would be 0 on block. Thanks for making this video!
Amazing video. Very clear and helpful step by step info. No one else does videos as detailed.
