Just ordered mine from Cabela's, I was looking to get into the PCP world but wasnt about to drop 500 dollars for a good air rifle. This was perfect and once it arrives I'll be very pleased seeing all of these amazing reviews, cant wait for a v2 of this gun someday Umarex!
Seems like a decent intro kit to the pcp world. I highly doubt anyone would go from pcp to this but i can definitely see it bringing folks over to the pcp world. I get it "buy once cry once" but tbh the average person doesnt have 300-500 for a pcp rifle plus another 50-150 on a hand pump....i see the appeal. Get it down around 150 for the kit and it'll bring even more folks into the hobby.
$150 would be very tough to hit, but you're right, the lower the price, the more people. We don't expect someone who has an HPA setup to want one of these, they don't "need" it. What we are hearing from our network of dealers that have ordered them is that they have people coming in to look at PCPs and aspire to have one, but they aren't ready to make the investment, and some have even just said they have no desire to buy and operate a compressor. These people reportedly aren't batting an eye at $225 for a rifle and a 2-pack of NitroAir. We are attempting to meet shooters where they are. Some are content with break barrels. Some are ready for the entire PCP setup. Some are in the middle... ready to move beyond springers but aren't ready to invest in a SCBA tank or compressor. We've even had comments from a couple of firearm shooters who like the simplicity compared to a break barrel and external filling solutions. Thanks for watching and leaving the comment. Much appreciated.
Right now it runs on pre-filled NitroAir cartridges. You can find them online and in stores for the same price as 88 gram CO2 but NitroAir has its advantages.
So when I remove the spent cartridge, it goes shooting across the room and hits a bystander? How much do the carts cost? How much fpe? Guy below says $12.50/cart? That's WAY too much!!!!!! How do I refill the carts? Is there a refillable and compatible tank for this gun?
No, it doesn't do that. You'd have to force it out and I mean force it out of the threads and in doing so you'd likely damage the gun and before you got it free of the threads would likely have expended the air.
🤠 Great innovation. If you want to do a multiday trek into the woods or mountains you cant carry a compressor with you! But you can carry three small bottles and have 150 shots. The only change "that needs to happen is for Umarex to design something more ergonomic, like an assault rifle... and that can be easily disassembled rifle. Then you have a top survival air rifle that you can make a big dent in the market and Umarex can charge more money for. Carrying a big log of a weapon is a thing of the past: Ask Huben and how much they charge for it, AEA HP MAX, Bintac 9mm, FX Maverick compact, FX Panthera Compact, FX M4 compact, ataman, etc,... the list goes on but Umarex has to listen the market wave.
Great, PyramidAir just surprised me with a free Umarex Komplete. My guess is that nobody is buying them...I guess I'll have to savor those 30 shots and hope for a whip adapter. Lame
@@UmarexAir I mean no offense, but what's to know? It's not my cup of tea at 5x the cost of shooting 22lr and 100x the cost of pellets. I have a new paperweight thats going on eBay. As i said elsewhere, if it was flexible with a refillable or disposable canister it would be a true gamechanger. I think they sent it to me because i was ordering parts for a Crosman 3622, which is an great little PCP.

Right on! Thank you so very much. Great way to usher in the last part of the year, with a new airgun!
$12.50 per cartridge for 40 shots? You do realize that's more than a box of 9mm?
Just the start of a whole new world of possibilities… and oh how quiet. No stamp. No powder. IYKYK.
No 9mm on the planet is as accurate as this rifle.
That's a game changer 😮
Its a new species
@UmarexAir is it possible to add a small paintball tank with an adapter and have it look similar to any other bottle style rifle?
Since the regulator is build in, it is possible.

What’s the link for that scope bro it looks nice
It's an Optisan. Message @TXHogDude on Instagram and he might be able to give you the specific.
Nice. Imagine if we could use NitroAir in airsoft.
🤔
And if I need 3 shots today, how long before the tank leaks out?
Like any other PCP it can be left pressurized.
It won't. Nitro air won't leak.
How come Bassin pro does not recognize you
Was in the Broken Arrow OK one recently and they had a couple of rifles and a few handguns. Several of them on their website.
Am I able to fill this myself like a PCP? Or do I need to buy the nitro containers?

Refillable cylinders plz using hand pump
Thanks for the suggestion!
How come Bass and pro has none of your products

Velocity?
.22 shoots 975 fps with an 11.9 grain lead pellet. 18 grain will shoot between 850-875. Great small game knock-down power.

Would love to see some 50 yard accuracy
Have more pellets on order so we can identify the best one for the job. So far Baracuda 15 is the lead with 5 shot group within thumbnail.
Have my dialed in at 40 yards. All the room I have at home.

Yeah, the compact modular trend is pretty big these days. Thank you for offering your thoughts and suggestions on this!

USA!
Cost way too much to shoot great concept, but you got to lower the price on that Air. This is way too expensive to shoot compared to PCP.
Maybe it's not for those that can buy an a compressor without using credit.
Junk
I would LOVE to have this gun, If it weren’t for the price of the Nitro 😢
The price for convenience. We get it. That's why we drink our awful office coffee... that way we can buy NitorAirs instead.
Well you know the saying if you gotta ask the price you can't afford it. Go pump your PCP. The gun not the one in your pants. LMFAO.
