"Point your finger long enough, you'll find someone to blame!" - Powerful words right there. Stay positive people
NeonsStyle which part did he speak those words id like to know cause i missed it im at work tryna watch it lol
Mary Jayne it was the third song I think when he’s in the cell
@@maryv7677 It was written on the sign at the safe haven
I think what's most interesting is that it starts with todrick being arrested and knowing nothing we automatically assume he's done something bad or wrong but as the story progresses we see how wrongful his incarceration is and how corrupt society actually is.
I think that just goes to show how skewed the public perspective can be.
YES
Torpae exactly
Torpae o
I made my younger cousin watch this with me and as soon as wanted started she freaked out and kept asking what Todrick Hall did to get arrested.
i honestly thought the man killed a dog or some shit (why a dog? people aint shit compared to dogs) and by the end when the hideout was found and all of them were being arrested.. damn.
This is altogether genius. Notice he lives on Novyart Street, and that’s where the white man was shot. Backwards, Novyart spells Trayvon. Nacirema backwards is American. Enhancing the thesis of the film: making everything backwards, so that maybe other people can see the ridiculousness, the horror of how America treats those who are “different.” This film went from the initial thought popping into Todrick’s head, to COMPLETION, in THREE MONTHS. He needs a Tony. An Oscar and an Emmy. A Nobel Peace Prize. Todrick, you are the Beethoven, the Shakespeare, the Andy Warhol of today’s generation. Watching your art, my jaw found its new home on the floor. Every standing ovation to you Mr. Hall. You can’t be real.
Kylie Pevarnik this is one hell of an observation.
This is exactly how I feel this message needs to b spreades
I know there was something different about those names
I was so overwhelmed with the genius of Todrick I did not even catch this fact. Thank you!
There is brainwashing through the Bible or how people in power interpret the Bible, which equals brainwashing. There is also gender centric toys used as this happens at birth, which explains why gender is a social construct. More people in music should be spreading such awarness through their talents.
no matter how many times i watch this, i’m still struck stupid and in complete awe of todrick’s crazy, genius, and effortless talent. he’s the definition of a true star and it’s a shame the whole world doesn’t praise him for his incredible abilities
prettymuch a headass The best singers can’t beat this!
prettymuch a headass you don’t need the world’s praise..he know what he has and will just keep growing
Alot of people don't know who he is ..now I know hes genius!!!
@@liyahmariyahweary1657 I was one of those till recently. But it was only a matter of timing. I watch this so many times.. His meessage and experiences covered so brilliantly that so many of us can relate his words to our an experiences of being different and facing injustice and stigma. His genius, I'm obsessed and inspired to share my own stories. He has been one of the best influences in my recovery. 💜
I love the little “wrong bitch” reference you added in there that was great😂😂
Maddy Taylor yes!!!!! 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍
That was an emotional experience. I feel like Straight Outta Oz was a test to see how much people would appreciate calling out all these societal problems, and when it did well, Todrick was like "Bitch, hold my weave and let me spill the REAL tea" and then made this absolute masterpiece. Seeing a role reversal for 1.5 hours REALLY makes you get the idea and by the end, it almost seemed normal, but that "normal" is very wrong, which is apparent the whole time. Then it makes you think, "this is literally society but backwards" and then realize that if there is a reverse of this, that reality is also very wrong, and we need to fix that. Loved the detail of it being 2080, and then 11 years after the incident (early 90's) it started getting better, which is very accurate. The old timey clothes and the classic design of the back drops contrasting the modern clothes and rave-esque forbidden location was a really nice touch too. I loved everything about this.
Ben Woffenden tooooooioiooioo long
My thoughts exactly.
I watched this with my mom (Very Christian) and this even spoke to her, so after watching this with me, I came out as bisexual to her. It was an appropriate time to me, and she hugged me and told me she knew but no matter who I'm dating she will always love me and who ever im with.
Thank you Todrick. Thank you so much.
Good for you 😁
Love that. You are hella brave & props to your mom for understanding 🤝🏽
Thats amazing it’s surprising that even the most sanctified people can love their children no matter what and people who don’t even know about god can’t do the same!
I'm proud of you (*^▽^*)
❤
the fact its been 5 years and i still feel all the same emotions i did when i watched this the first time. My heart strings have been pulled 🥲
Same!
The way Todrick covered racism, sexuality, police brutality, and many more important topics that need to be discussed still to this day in a CREATIVE & BEAUTIFUL WAY IS COMPLETELY GENIUS 😩❤️❤️❤️
Morgen Nicole29 I
Morgen Nicole29 yesss he literally touched every topic
right! lets forget the real reason why we have problems today and keep focusing on Identity politics and MUH POLICE BRUTALITY, when we all know the real truths. it's okay...keep hiding your head in the sand.
@@jabzilla21 what a-hole?
@@jabzilla21 i'm so sorry you only have the capacity to care for a handful of things at one time. This isn't gonna change the world, it's just a little art. Noones stating these are the only issues anyone should care for. when you manage to write, choreograph and produce an entire musical on all current affairs please let us know so we can watch it. If you have half the level of skill Todrick has in his left nut you might have a chance. Get your head out of the sand.
Todrick is so unique in many ways.
How he incorporated racism, police brutality and hatred due to one's sexuality in such a masterful way is iconic.
Matter of fact the words iconic would be an insult to him he's legendary and deserves way more for his masterful work.
He literally made a musical. Like a full on musical . And I just have to say wow and it touched me. 100% need a grammy or oscar
Or Tony.....
all Three if you ask me
THIS MAN IS A GENIUS
I totally agree
He’s fuckin amazing 🤩
But you it’s America they won’t look at his for his talent they will look at him cause he’s gays which we all shouldn’t give no fucks we judge ppl on what makes them happy and it’s sad
Also, not the only one, he also did Straight Outta Oz😍
that you moment that you realize everything--down to the way their hands are on their chests and the flags--is literally backwards american. well done
I knew it looked weird...their hand on their heart lol
Can we get this nominated for the Grammys or broadcasted for an Emmy cause this is AMAZING!!!!
Simone Umba I agree
Yesss!!!!! Everything about this is so amazing and eye opening to everyone! The most influential performance I have ever seen. All of it! And his diverse ability to be this incredible simply puts him so far above every artist in the business in such a long time.
I think he qualifies for the best new artist Grammy category for sure. Unless his Straight Outta Oz album is considered his debut album.
pls
Simone Umba Yes we need to!!!
YALL TODRICK LITERALLY THOUGHT OF THIS IDEA 3 MONTHS AGO!! AND SHOT IT ALL IN 2 in a half MONTHS and planned a Tour! Most of these artist out here couldn't even do half of this in a year. WE LOVE OUR King Toddy #SKINNYLEDGEND!
Twizley Gold what does doing this quickly mean? He’s somehow better than Beyoncé because he can come up with a concept this fast?
Twizley Gold 💯💯💯💯💁💁🌋🌋🌋🌋 MY GOSH!!! My existence is still gone right now. He over over SLAYED this.
OH MY GOSH!
Twizley Gold probably because it's basically straight outta oz take 2. I'm super disappointed!
Disappointed? Oh my goodness WHY? It's got some of the same messages, but you didn't think it was good?
holy shit i just noticed novyart street where the shooting takes place (25:59) backwards is trayvon st....aka trayvon martin...todrick really thinks of every little detail holy shit
Its a little late, but nacirema is american backwards. The flags also have the opposite colors
coloured people being the more populated and white people treated as outcasts, lgbt+ people treated as normal, straights as outcasts,
it really shows how unfair life is
and it shows how it looks when you flip it around
seriously todrick this is amazing
@haha you thought I had a name true but unecessary to point out lol. You know what they meant
Omg God ur right Mr. Hall ur a genius
Don’t use the term “coloured people ”. As it was and still is a disparaging term used by racists to refer to people of color.👌🏽
@@damiendevil333 Yes, though I live in South Africa
The term coloured poeple is used a lot.
And I find the term well, idk. I am not the person who
write the comment but thanks for letting us know😊😊😊😀😀😀
@@damiendevil333 YES absolutely!!! Being born in 1964 even, my birth certificate refers to me as "colored." It IS a racist term. I don't like the word "minority" when referring to human beings either. To me, that is even racist. No one is any less than anyone else regardless of their skin color or background. Period! I will never use that word when referring to another human being.

Sabrina Powell thank you sooo much my friend ❤
You're welcome guys.
Sabrina Powell you’re life! Thank you!!!
Sabrina Powell I know she didn't sing- she spoke briefly. But please let us not forget the A-MAZING Cheryl Lee Ralph at the end of "Nobody" in the cafe. She is one of THE ORIGINAL DREAMGIRLS, she helped launch the Broadway play Sylvester and so much more. She is EVERYTHING.
I adore you for doing this. Thank you so much! ❤
Thank you so much
As I rewatch this for the hundredth time I really see how the red head singer compared to silver spoon (which is a cute way to represent exactly that) is our entertainment industry. If you don't fit a mold it doesn't matter how talented you are because silver spoon was as generic as you could get but they loved her. Just like todrick deserves a god damn Grammy several times over but he won't get it any time soon because of the industry mold he breaks a million times over.
wolfylover4ever listen to it with head phones. You make think there’s something wrong with them but in all honesty, it’s what you just said.
If you watch straight outta oz he talks about how he was supposed to go into the music industry and then the people lied to him.
@@breebreenycole6486 m
I'm sure you also noticed. But the race reversal of this scene too, in the past blacks would perform in from of white audiences (places where blacks couldn't enter unless as "talent" but not as patrons). The fact that it was an all black audience watching another race pour their talents out but it isn't enough is a parallel to those occurrences in the past.
And now that part is silent.... wonder why
Soooooo how can I buy this on DVD for every member of my family because this art deserved to be paid for

ARMY
I see you ARMY ;)
Yes.
omg did anyone else notice that mailbox was spelled malebox
first time I watched I didn't notice, but on 'an ordinary day', the street! Novyart - Trayvon! This is actually a cinematic masterpiece where is the Oscar?
If you watch the BTS he specifically wanted things like that. I love that as a concept. You can find a lot of interesting things if you flip the name.
Basically everything is flipped, almost like a mirror to this current society of being an AMERICAN (NACIREMA). Why not reflect to send a message?
Michael Travis honey he gave you a beach ball and an entire Semi truck to hit it but you still missed the point
What's the significance with Novyart/Trayvon? I'm Australian so as a whole this film somewhat relates to Australian society but unable to grasp the smaller hints
Annabel L Trayvon Martin was a 17 year old black boy who was killed by a neighborhood watch member despite the police telling him not to do anything to Trayvon. His death is seen as the one which sparked the Black Lives Matter movement
If this doesn’t win any awards I will be seriously disappointed. This was incredible and it’s too good to not get recognition
Back for this because of the recent tragedies where a black man can’t jog without being shot or breathe with a police officer abusing his power. This is such a beautiful piece of art.
If only issues were so clearly black vs white/gay vs straight/religion vs anti-religion/fat vs skinny/left vs right/right vs wrong.
Sadly everything really is much more complex.
There is no clear answer other than to give everyone else the same grace you want to receive.
We have to accept that sometimes the people we would like to fantasize as completely innocent victims are more complex, as well. Just as those we would like to paint as evil oppressors are also much more complex.
And that the media and politicians play us to further their agenda.
If anything, this wonderful story proves that nothing is clearly one way or another, but a mix of both.
With every piece of beauty there is a bit of darkness. With every moment of purity there is a drop of evil.
Because without one, we cannot recognize the other.
Donna Mixon worded it best. Even when making or saying something along almost identical lines I'd about never dare to put it in a comment section tho.
Truly believe this is something that won't be fully appreciated or recognized in history until later years like so many others.
Todrick you skinny legend, my wig is currently orbiting around Neptune thanks for that
Idk if skinny is the right term cuz at 4:10 I see some phat cake

Tristan van Huizen THANK YOU SOO MUCH
Does anyone else start uncontrollably weeping about 3/4s in but you have to keep watching till the end because the catharsis of Apple Pie followed by the joy of Boys Wear Pink is the only thing that can make you feel complete again?
Yeah, I was never crazy about brandys singing until she had that baby in her arms but her performance made me break down like a little bitch. Maybe bc I have a grown son and I worry about him. The way the world is now and its uncertainty and turmoil, and ppl having no regards for human life it makes me upset.
YES HAHA. I WAS SOBBING
"A tear jerker. 10 out of 10. Totally go watch this" - The RUclips Committee
when she was trying to paint over the red paint with blue paint and then it smeared and was blue, purple, and pink, the bisexual colors, man i started sobbing. i sobbed through so much of this, so brilliant, such a magnificent masterpiece. i saw todrick live in 2014 back when he was singing songs like "twerking in the rain" (which i still love) but this, omg this is out of this world, he is the george m cohan of our generation
Magical Molly What part was this? I missed that reference
1:17:00
Are you sure that was actually intentional?
I came to comment on just this, the ugly cry was in full effect.
I am so glad I’m not the only one that saw that. I spent a good hour crying after i finished watching this - dear lord did this hit me hard. It really is brilliant.
todrick in my opinion is one of the most underrated artists of our time. this is truly remarkable to be produced, let alone in the time he accomplished it in. he and his team are truly breathtaking and i’m just at a loss of words this is truly art
Jillian Samples couldn't have said this better myself
Amen bro
Brandy!!!!!! That song "Lullaby" was beautiful.. Lovin' every bit of this, I can't take it!! 💜💙💜💙 Totally glad I clicked on this #GetItTodrick!!!!
His freaking voice has such a range. Soul, rock/pop, rap, Jesus. Why isn’t he more famous.
Can you do a video going through all of the symbolism you put in? (Like the small Easter eggs) I just love hearing about all the small details you went to the effort of incorporating x
So much talent, everything is reversed :
- Nacirema is where they live
-The American flag is reversed
-Gay is the norm and heterosexuality is the sin
-"Adam and Steve"
-To be heterosexual and able to breed is considered an awful thing
-Women live with women, men live with men
-Black are privileged and White are below (90% of the people we see is black, the mayor is black, the workers are white, in the prison we see mainly white ppl)
-When todrick lands money, it is mainly white neighbours who come...
In ordinary day it is all displayed, especially the black/white relation of power
Todrick really thought of it all, and there is so much more, like the name of the street, he is TALENTED
Bring him an Oscar.
You forgot when the white boy got shot & nobody acted like nothing happened & it was just a regular day🤔
Maya Walker it was so obvious it didn't need explaining ;)
I wonder if that's why they decided to name the town nacirema since everything is reversed
Quaid Damian of course, it is even the main purpose, and if you notice, nolon and elle are palindromes, which means that in both world -reverse or not - they are still the same
Maya Walker and as a matter of fact I even mentioned it in my comment, re-read it ;)
I always sob hysterically before and during "Heaven"... Its been a while since this masterpiece was made but it still pulls at my heartstrings whenever I watch it.
It's almost been a year and I am still in love with this. Incredibly moving and powerful
Todrick Hall made his own Lemonade! Yes sir!
AGAIN
I am not sure if Oz was personally as musically defining as Forbidden. Both are magnificent in their own right
I laughed, I shook my booty, got thirsty as hell, screamed, got my life and cried like a baby. This is a MASTERPIECE. Todrick you are a genius, people need to recognise that you dont get talent like this on an average day. You are a true energy of love and creativity. Thank you for creating a world for all the little boys and girls that are different to not feel so different.
Spencer Read I felt like I was watching Beyoncé lemonade
Asten Bryant OMG literally!
Absolutely!
I did too
Spencer Read YES
I'm so cishet that my friends think I must be denying a part of myself but this was so beautiful. I've put off watching it for a while because I wasn't following my heart and gut for a long time. I didn't expect to cry but I did it's such a beautiful, artistically, thought provoking creation that shakes the heart of even those who believe they're secure. Todrick is a gift sent straight from the universe itself.
I've noticed that everytime my life feels like it's crumbling I always find my way back to watching this. It's helped me through alot. Even though it came out four years ago. It stills helps
my suspicions have been confirmed. todrick Hall is a musical and creative genius👑👑
Why would you be suspicious?
Ona Ebodaghe yes he’s amazing omg
Ona Ebodaghe yes he most certainly is, and he looks good as a drag queen lol

Me after Video- No!!! Why is it over, I need more!

Best line in the entire album
They should make the black picket fence a real book (like if you agree)
That's kinda watch Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman is about, minus the sexuality issue
After watching all the visuals I came to the conclusion that todrick and JadeNovah falls in love in a gay world where heterosexuals are “Forbidden”. I love how todrick spins everything to the opposite of what the world is really like today. Even the part with the white guy being “Forbidden” in an all black world. FUCKING AMAZING. FUCKING GENIUS. YOU’RE A GIFT🎀 YOU’RE AN INSPIRATION💜
BaddieTwinz TV and Jadenovah is Bi.... love the representation!
BaddieTwinz TV boy thx for explaining I didn’t really get it
Yes hopefully people will see how absurd it really is to hate gay vs straight vs black vs white
I just watched ordinary day for like the 20th time and just notice that there are no white people in the neighborhood thank you for pointing that part out
thank you. i thought thats was it was at first. then i got confused. its good my 1st thought was right
Makes me made that more people don't know about this... Todrick clearly put HIS WHOLE LIFE into this and it needs to be recognized like damn. People need to stop giving into the crappy RUclipsrs AND WATCH THESE VIDEOS. This is truly amazing and it's changing my life.
Liv Living Couldn’t have said it better!! 👏🏽
I have literally no words, I laughed, I cried, I danced, I sang. Absolutely amazing. Speechless. Todrick deserves everything good that's coming to him, he is nothing but raw talent and a beautiful heart and soul. Not to mention handsome. Bravo
"Omg he was so privileged a gay black man why he want to mess it up."
- Nacriema citizen
"OMG he was so privileged a white straight man why he want to mess it up."

I wish this was pinned at least 😥
somebody pin it :D
YASSSS
Thx
This was so much more than what we just saw on our screen. This was a piece of pure perfection. Not a parody, not a jab, not a joke. This is a view of real life for so many! To see things flipped & put into perspective from the point of view of the ones who have had to fight for the things that a huge majority of us take for granted & cannot begin to understand the magnitude of pain & anguish they've endured from just wanting/trying to live their lives being who they are, was unbelievably eye opening. I am a 38 yo white woman that accepts everybody & loves that we are all different, black/white/gay/straight/short/tall/skinny/Fluffy etc. Even though I embrace it & do not agree with hating others or changing others for being different then me, I live in a world where others do not follow my same beliefs/values. I know I cannot ever truly understand or know what others have had to go through, I can help to fight to make everyone equal & differences embraced! Todrick, you are a beautiful genius! Ty so much for this beautiful beautiful video! You truly have a gift & deserve the moon my love! ❤️❤️❤️
1:08:54 Todrick has become the Markus of this universe's Jericho
I thought 💭 the same thing too. 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊
Todrick you have moved me to my core. I cried when they hung Nolon. You are a super genius and I know that a lot of the songs and choreography in these videos are your work. You are so so gifted. I adore your work. As a white, hetero woman of over 50, you might think I might not be in your normal demographic but I say sod that!. I may not be black and I may not be a gay person, but I can celebrate with you and tell you that you are perfect as God made you. God bless you and all your brothers and sisters.

The underlying meaning of "Ordinary Day" had me feeling a bit queasy, even more so because it's such a lighthearted tune.
Same, but the fact that it made us uncomfortable means that it did its job.
It had me in tears @26:00

Dude I Said Forget Drag Race And I put it on pause. And I'm Glad I Did this is Beyond Amazing #WiG #SNATCHED!!
This is the third time I’ve watched this and I realized that it hurts my heart how LGBT people are treated. You can’t help who you love and you should be able to love who you want to love without being hated and shunned. I’m so sorry, you all have to endure what you do and I pray one day we will live in a world where everyone is accepted regardless of race, sexuality, color, etc... this is brilliant Todrick just brilliant ❤️
I am in the middle of my first time watching this and I want to extend the same feeling towards you as it hurts my heart how the world treats those of differing races. I was born and raised in Alaska and we have one of the most diversified schools in the nation. I was blessed to be raised with morals without prejudice and my friends were chosen by their merit not by their physical attributes. However I went out of state to college and witnessed racism for the first time and it shook me to my core. I didn’t understand it. I couldn’t comprehend it, I still don’t. So I have the same prayer as you. I hope I conveyed my sentiments appropriately, words are hard to find right now as I’m taken aback by the emotion Toderik evoked with this masterpiece of a production.
THIS BRANDY VISUAL???? Y'ALL DID THAT!!!! CHILLS!!!!!!!
You've outdone yourself Todrick.
Tamar Chronicles agreed ❤️
Honestly I still watch this like ten times a year. Ordinary Day ALONE deserves a Tony. This is pure ART! Every song is just amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Between the music and dancing in T.H.U.G. and Forever, I might actually have a stroke. Toddy, you need to hook me up with some of your attractive friends plz
I was like "ohhh new forbidden vid...WAIT an hour and a half...YASSS WHERE MY EARPHONES?" 😂😄❤💜💛💙💚
LITERALLY me.
Todrick could've just politely asked for my wig, he didn't have to snatch it like that
tropical meme Mine has been snatched as well...
We'd have it no other way
tropical meme lmao! Yaaaasss!
LOL SAME
Right?!?!
Heaven always makes me cry. My heart clenches every time I heard
🤗
When they killed the woman that helped them run away I cried for 10 minutes. She knew they were going to kill her.
The look on her face when she was getting them out hurt my heart. She knew they would need the keys as she wouldn't any more and their best bet was to just go. The double shot as well 💔
It was Todrick’s face after they shot her for me I cried like a little baby😭😭😭😭
Brandys voice I mean honestly is a gift!
The societal comments and alternate universe really draws attention to the things wrong with our country historically as well as challenges we are facing now with the treatment of race, gender, and sexuality. Well done Todrick, this is a masterpiece.
This is art. Why is this not getting the recognition it deserves?
1:18:58 i could literally feel the heart beat in my headphones 😱 this has touched my heart in so many ways. I have no idea why Todrick hasn't won a huge award if not for acting for his music!! I wasn't expecting to watch the whole thing, just wanted to see a little bit, but i couldn't look away ❤❤❤❤
I feel like I’m like robbing someone or pirating getting this beautiful film for free especially so soon after straight outta oz(yes I understand it’s been a year but that’s like a ridiculously short amount of time for this sort of thing to follow one after another)
Braaaaaaaannnnndyyy. I screamed when I heard her voice. She is everything to me
how can issues to ugly be strung into a masterpiece so beautiful 😭
I still come back to watch this absolute masterpiece ❤
I like how when the guy was singing “ordinary day” it represented how officers are killing black men and just going on with their lives hence “ordinary day “. And I also liked how at the end someone was literally sweeping “it” under the rug. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
right...forgetting about the actual facts of life here but whatever.
@jabzilla
What actual facts? Please, if you will elaborate.
@@jabzilla21 Do you ever not complain? xD
When blacks get killed it is not swept under the rug it is sad but definitely not swept under the rug (at least in the last 20 years). If a cop kills someone unjustly they should be charged with whatever they did wrong but to say “swept under” is factually incorrect a vast majority of the shootings and riots over these shootings were completely justified or the police officers were treated with justice or sent to jail.
@@bbprime5017 it get swept by made up (lies ) justification
Y’all Todrick is criminally underrated
Mohammed Abbas he will have his day soon. He is driven and only gets better each time
eating cereal and sobbing for the 50,000th time.
For the first time I am starting to understand, and though I never hated gays or blacks or whatever, I did not get it like i get it now.... love it, thanks Todrick
Brandi is still one of the most beautiful and talented queens to grace the vocal world.
This NEEDS to be on Broadway right NOW
animenerd 123 I said the same thing
animenerd 123 it's on tour
I swear I listen to this album and straight outta oz every single day. I wish Todrick was on the radio and that people actually know who is. He’s just so amazing and talented. I frickin love him!❤️😘🥰🔥
This could literally be an alternate universe as we speak
Lullaby had me in all of my feels... Wow

I was looking for this comment!
Wesley Sales my wig isnt in the universe

7 Rings? Sorry. I only know Ka-Ching.
But they both make me feel broke.
This movie has the best music. I am so excited to see Todrick this October! I'll see you in Toronto!!
He is a STORYTELLER!🔥
This whole thing is incredibly SMART [I mean of course! it's TODRICK] but one thing honestly stood out how much emphasis the news reporter put on just describing the woman rather than saying her name! This is golden! This whole thing deserves so much recognition
You aren't wrong, that details adds to the effect, but I kind of get the impression that in terms of the story, they didn't know who the woman was specifically, just that he was being heterosexual (even though there were witnesses and they should have known). Cause if they did know who she was, they would have probably arrested and convicted her as well.
Truly, a most enlightening masterpiece. I come back to this piece of art every year or so (give or take). And every time I'm moved in ways, I didn't think possible again. Definitely doesn't get the credit and acknowledgment it deserves. I will share ALWAYS.
An hour and thirty-one minutes and fifty-three seconds of pure bliss.
BRANDY OMG !!!!!!! JESUS CHRIST BRANDY GAVE YOU LIKE 6 DIFFERENT TEXTURES WITHIN HER VOICE !!! HER LAYERS , HER RUNS , HER SOFT WHISPERS 😩🙌🏾 NOTHING LEFT TO SAY ❤️❤️
me 90s ..Ikr...Voice of an Angel. Human instrument...playing her own orchestra!...
exactly!
I rarely write comments, I felt compelled to do so. This is absolutely brilliant. Please know that you have made this 57 year old, straight progressive Christian proud. Your work stretches us, makes us look when we want to look away; it makes us think and feel. You will be accused of not being enough of this or that, but in you little brother, God has given us something new, something more. Please take care of you. Rest, heal love and be loved. We ALL need you. I love you.
Bertice Berry awe that’s so cute
You made me cry
Agreed
This actually touched me to the point of tears. I’m so glad there are religious people like you. ❤️😭❤️
Bertice Berry Hallelujah! Thank you for that.
It truly blessed me to read unapologetic positive change happening.
May God continue to bless you.
I don't know how I came across this video. Much less how it got recommended to my feed. But I absolutely love his genius mind for teaching us how to see through the eyes of those who are struggling. Those who are deemed "strange" or "touched". I pray for the healing of everyone being affected by the brutality of everyone around them. Thank you for this video.
The cinematography on this was amazing, it was like a Hollywood movie. I also loved the story. I want more
I nearly died when I saw Tiffany Haddish and Jennifer Lewis in the same room and then I see Cynthia Erivo I’m not even halfway through the video and I’m gonna die of being star struck
Ari Sweetie yes me too omg
Ari Sweetie isn’t she the one the one that bit Beyoncé’s face
