In 2012, EPA used regional and national technical assistance funds to construct an educational porous pavement parking lot at Hurd Field in Arlington, MA. EPA and the Town of Arlington will track the success of this parking lot in New England while promoting its use in surrounding watershed communities.

No mention of maintaining the porous pavement. Without proper maintenance the porosity of the pavement will decrease over time.

Did you look at the Operation and Maintenance Plan? They will be vacuuming and cleaning the pavement four times each year.
