Scott's Story

19 million Americans are morbidly obese. Scott was one of them. Scott was also suffering from nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), in exceptional pain due to a build-up of liquid in his abdomen, and in need of a liver transplant. Scott received a pioneering combination liver transplant and sleeve gastrectomy at Mayo Clinic. This is his story.
