I found this really interesting and helpful! I use a blank grid dot journal as a bullet journal to keep track of to do lists and appointments, but have been playing with the idea of using a hobonichi of some kind as more of a daily journal of how I’m feeling & what’s been happening. Seeing you evolving in how you are using yours makes me feel a bit less intimidated in giving it a try.
Yes I really think it's one of those things where you can't know until you try. I deliberately chose the A6 Avec so it would be small and if I fell off halfway through the year I'd get a second chance to restart, can recommend it in that sense! I was using an undated planner before but after 1.5 years of that I decided I was tired of writing the dates in 😂
Lovely tour! I am a paper planner girl (supported by reminders in my phone). I use an A5, 6 ring binder. I buy blank dotted pages and make my own sheets. Bullet planner inspired but with lots of blank space. Unused or half empty pages can later be used to make notes. I like the rings (Vs the stitched version) because I can insert things and switch things around. I have no time to decorate lavishly. Perhaps I use a different fountain pen ink every week...but that is it. If I get really fancy I might sap some stickers on it 😂. So good to see you enjoy and discover fountain pens. Yes, let us see what you use and how you like it. Thanks!!!
Sounds like a great system! I also really can't get too much more complicated than just a couple of books and a pen, it's already enough to keep track of - I'm definitely not really into decorating right now. I love the concept of a ring binder and I've seen how effective it is for a lot of people, glad you've found something that just clicks with your brain! It's so fascinating how personal these things are 😁
The husband is a HUGE fountain pen geek and has loads of cool inks I would love to pry out of his hands and take for a spin once I figure out which conveyance 😆.
Mina Perhonen doesn’t use real leather unfortunately, it’s PU. I returned one of my covers because of this. Wish it was leather. I ended up getting the Twinkle Tweed for 2024 and 2025 I ordered the Leather Water Green. Love the mint green colour
Yes to fountain pen videos! 😊
I've put it on the list! 😊

I do have the Kakimori brass nibb which is fabulous and sadly underutilized at the moment... C'es parti!
Ahhh I was considering buying one of those... Evidence mounts...

@@ChanelthePomston ah okay, thanks for the correction, though it's not a deal-breaker for me thankfully! The twinkle tweed is also so gorgeous
I adore that raspberry cover!!
It was an unnecessary amount of money but I just couldn't get it out of my head... Makes me so happy to see it every day!!
