I love these dogs, but after having two, just too heartbreaking to bring them through a complete life cycle again. They are very difficult to own, they shed terrible amounts of fur, they are very sweet, but what incredible upkeep. This dog needs to be combed out, I can see it. I will always miss mine, but I can never repeat it. I borrowed happiness, and now I'm paying it back. They are great dogs, BUT, know what you are getting into. These are not trivial dogs to own, they are cute, adorable, sweet, gentle, loving, but so much work to keep them groomed, and so terrible to lose. I will always miss mine. Beware of a perfect companion that only lives 16 years.
in japan, they are trying out how to make cats to live 30 years, which i always thought myself, the universe is giving in my thoughts, and i do hope they will do it for the dogs as well. i know how you feel, we used to have 21 dogs, 8 huskies, from grandma to grand daughter.3 belgian mal, japanese spitz, bulldog, 3schnauzer, , ruthweiler, and half breeds that was given to us, chow chow that i picked up from the street, they all die from old age, reason why we got so many before, because the ruthweiler, belgian, japanese spitz was given to us by relatives who also have many dogs and cant tke care of them, then our huskies, my brother used to breed, but ended up not for sale. he also own the schnauzers. they are all gone, but my brother gave us another dog in the pandemic, and the vet gave us, a bulldog which my irresponsible sister accepted, , half golden from my uncle which my cousin is taking care of, and Dachshund this little dog is really spoiled by my mom. nothing ive dealt with before, cause a lot of dogs in our house before, this dachshund is a spoiled brat, and territorial, i also never watched 8bellow, even if our dogs are still with us at that time. i never watched anything that involves huskies, cause i know deep down inside, i dont want them to grow old, and i had a feeling i will not like the movie in cinema and im glad i never did. our first husky was from 1999, and her babies were born in 2002. last one died in 2017 but now, i can watch husky videos maybe after 3 years or 4, before i can finally watch any short films or vloggers who has a husky. actually, if given a chance, i want a golden retriever, cause when my husky was in the vet back in 2015, or 2016, i remember there was this golden retriever who is already old, and requires to be rolled over cause he has spine problems, who also wants the food i was giving our husky, that dog name was sunny, he still has personality even in his dying bed. he wants a piece of meat. and i also rolled him over, cause most of our old dogs needs to be rolled over, so i know the drill. and gave him a piece of meat. when i asked how he was when we were out of the vet, i find out he is gone. but i dont know why i cant forget about that dog. now, we have cats and birds. sigh.... but cant give them away. the heartbreaks never end.

I thought 30 years would be the perfect lifespan for my dogs, and probably it would have been. Well, too bad for me. Maybe my dogs didn't live too short, maybe I lived too long. We can increase lifespan, by increasing the length of telomeres, but there is an increased risk of cancer. Life is very complex. We DO KNOW how to extend life, but doing it, we create more problems than are being solved. TECHNICALLY we can increase lifespan, but cancer is non terminal life of a cell and uncontrolled reproduction. Cancer cells live forever. They are immortal, until they kill the host. Also, I don't want to live forever, I doubt any animal does. When I had to put one of my dogs down, he wasn't ready to go, but he had to go - there was no way to save him. He had no idea he was going. When my other dog had to go, she was ready. If I kept my male alive longer, he would have been ready to go. He would have been in such pain.. I probably kept my female alive too long. I regret that. I think I was being selfish.

What that does is optimize chip routing to reduce manufacturing cost. It's not life, it just mimics life, extremely simple life whose only purpose is to reduce lengths of routing which reduces cost. That's the ONE PROBLEM is solves through an algorithm. Here's a revelation for you, it's quite obvious to me that the solution that is being solved for by humanity, is morality. We are constantly becoming a kinder, gentler, more moral species every generation, every year. We take steps back for certain, that happens in an evolutionary algorithm as well, but I can see the progression. You think you'll ever see two men fight to the death on television? Would have been perfectly normal 2000 years ago, if they had the technology. Probably you will never see this. That's a pity.
