@@leonardoduarte2001 so u have to work with the Nazis... Even in Okinawa u cannot go crazy on Nazi linages... And must be tested before entering Japan or Germany..... putting on a face and walking around is for d-class
Ah, this takes me back to when monthly D-Class terminations and excessive D-Class usage were still a thing. It’s one of those hallmarks of Old SCP Foundation that, while influential and defining, kind of falls apart upon the slightest bit of examination due to how illogical it is (the sheer waste of death row inmates, an already limited resource) and doesn’t really appear anymore. In fact, someone wrote an SCP that revealed the “monthly termination” process is itself an anomaly, SCP-2193 (there is no canon, and in fact, yet another person wrote an SCP where the concept of a “D-Class” is itself an anomaly, SCP-2959, so of course, so take it with a grain of salt.) A particularly egregious example is an old Safe-class SCP I can’t remember the number of that creates oil that had a 99% chance of killing someone if they drank it, implying that the Foundation fed 100 D-Class personnel anomalous oil to find one person that survived to prove that statistic. Nowadays, the explanations for what happens to D-Classes ranges from giving them jobs at Foundation front companies, to mindwiping them and having them redo the month, or something else that isn’t killing them. Either that, or the D-Classes are artificially made from clone batches, are androids, or were taken from alternate universes. Excessive mistreatment of D-Class personnel is also less nowadays because, as someone said, “If you’re trusting someone with the job of messing around with world-ending artefacts, it’s usually better if said person is not either suicidally depressed or suicidally angry at you.”
Facts. I like how the majority of the fan base collectively agreed that "Yeah, terminating our only limited humane source for testing out of the ordinary and weird logic breaking creatures, items, places and "things" by the end of the month is really freaking stupid huh?" It also doesn't help that there's a good number of SCPs that are essentially "" "Feed the D-class to it. (Mostly likely will result in their death) and hope that it doesn't break free and bring about apocalyptic scenario number *insert number/letter here*." That also exists in said universe(s).
How illogical is it? They're sentenced to life in prison or on their way to be executed. The number of cases of such are astronomically high. Their lifespan after becoming a D-class is short, but they usually get more amenities than one would get raped or killed in prison eventually. One such case is the deer, in which they turned containment over to occult practitioners after having no clue what to do with it. It's very much a "murder the world" scenario if it were not confined. Most of the "feed the meat grinder" entries I see are one where if they didn't do that, the alternative "is bad". Not killing puppies in an arcade machine bad. Rather complete and total death scenarios where it's gone way past breaking the veil and on to most people won't be alive any more and SCP-2000 can't just keep churning out new timestamps in civilization if they keep being eaten by the uncontained thing.
