I own a 1983 black on black 5 speed 928S with the 4.7 liter V8 . BBS wheels and full leather interior in great condition . I had it supercharged by 928 Motorsport in Wisconsin. Very fast solid Grand Tourer ...still turns heads and wins awards at car shows.
I remember that year like it was yesterday. 1980 Ronnie Regan and the 5.0 would pull out quick but the car you are in will go faster unless it was detuned those cars were advertised on the Autobon in Germany smoking right along. Brick cheese 🧀 and Powdered milk, and hard times. Got me in the 60+ car club, having to buy wrecks and blown up ones and putting motors and transmissions in them drive for awhile and then do another one. When they had real wrecking yards and good salvage yards. God bless you for sharing the memories this morning.
It also has a great big hefty price tag if something happens to it or breaks down. Parts availability for those cars are sometimes easy and sometimes obsolete.

My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful car for the age , they have a great cult following too.
229 horsepower, not a rocket ship but compared to the US offerings at the time it would have been
Hum…that’s not much but it was 1980
@@bobsclassiccarsparts8772 According to Google, the US market got more than the Euro market🤔
BTY , good morning to you all this morning.

Yea it’s a Porsche. It ain’t gonna be cheap to fix
It's a risky business owning one of these today.
I didn't hear that this morning, it is detuned unless he paid to have put back to Autobon mode.
No he just bought it from an auction
Fan needs replaced
You are not going fast enough yet.
Not mine 😉
