- Noel Edmonds’ Toilet and Johnny Vaughan’s Shower
Richard is reeling over the news that pregnant women are giving public blow-jobs in the Westfield (surely this can only drive Shepherd’s Bush property prices upwards) but still has time to introduce his guest, the twice sacked Deal or No Deal warm up man, John Robins.
They discuss what it was like sharing a flat with Jon Richardson and Russell Howard, why Richard thinks of Mark Lamarr every time he boils a kettle, daring to challenge the comedy Sauron that is Stewart Lee, the dangers of drinking at gigs and what it’s like being in a relationship with a comedian.
If you want to hear John in action you can pay what you like for his last two Edinburgh shows here - johnrobins.bandcamp.com/. But pay him a fiver for them, don’t be a dick.

Excellent episode! Love John Robins, and he is so right about those weird moments when you remember strange things.
Another good one, what a lovely man he seems. Thank you Richard.
we enjoy all the RHLSTP's .....You're Very Very funny....and the guests are just icing for the cake.
Happy New Years for many years to come!!!
Love you John! Can't wait to see you & Elis live in November :)
I always enjoy nodding off to the latest RHLSTP (in a good way)! From a Cheddar(ish) fella in HK - keep them coming in 2016! Great stuff!
Love your podcast R K Herring. I would love to see you interview Peter Baynham. Or even Chris Morris haha.
+ladybeard99 will get peter if he's ever in the UK at the right time. Chris has said it's not his thing.
Lost it at the ice cream bit
Ales, ales, ales, toffee crisp, ales, questionable sausage roll dipped in bbq sauces, rum, rum, bed.
Get Jerry Sadowitz on, pay him a million and crowd fund it.
what`s the chances of getting Mark Lamarr to do one of these . Slim pickings or a bit hopeful . since his GLR days hes been a bit thin on the ground when it comes to listening to him . yeah he did his radio 2 show . But to hear him speak on a one to one Interview would be lovely .Miss the guy on the radio . Is he still touring as a stand up or poetry.. Top bloke been a fan for years
Great dj, but he's widely regarded by those he's worked with as a total arsehole.
+olivertopple Times a great healer. He might come out skipping. throwing flowers and loving everything.. Failing that Andrew O'Neill. The occultist Cross-dressing comic .
+skawashers the deeper I delve into my dream interviewees, the more I realise the shortfalls of the interviewer.

I Also have a List of up and coming comics who are doing the pub circuits . Seen a lot of good ones . On stage and off are two Different things . In a environment of a Podcast they might pop my illusion of them being funny
and Grounded
It would be cool if Richard interviewed Paul Merton or Sean Lock on the podcast, they're my three favourite UK comics :)
Strange watching this before his big breakup and following show about it.
Is this the son from the Tesco ad?
Richard you have such a great laugh-it's kinda dirty but also kinda like a child's giggly laughter-dirty and childish, like some of your material haha?! Please don't take that as a diss it's not supposed to be!, you're definitely one of my favourite comedians- Christ on a bike the second coming and we're all going to die are my faves so far..
I think it would be funny to turn up at a retail wholesalers, pick out the most expensive and elaborate coin counting machine - the one that automatically rolled the 50p's into £10 paper tubes - then pay for it with only 50p's.
Any chance of getting Iain Lee on? He would be good!
aside, he wouldn't he'd be shit.
never was a fan but one day he managed to find an old twitter comment I'd said about him by googling himself (I hadn't tagged him in it) and he decided to set his twitter followers on me.
wasn't all bad though, it made the media guardian. woo.
so no thanks, he's just another twitter bully. like Gervais but without the decent body of work in his back catalogue.
+cdname47 Possibly cause of his career going to shit after 11 o'clock show. I think this was very briefly commented on in one of the pod casts.
Anyone know where to find Robins' Stewart Lee routine?

Cheers!
I can't see the answer here. Is it available somewhere?
Ay Southmead I was born same hospital as John
John is just Hunkarama!
Will you ever interview Catie?
Just realized I've mixed up John Robins with Elis James. To the point where I thought Elis James was with Sara Pascoe, and that I'd heard them together on Do The Right Thing.
sad that Pascoe broke up with Jon the way she did. he's a really nice guy.
Have you done Matt Ford?
Matt Ford would be brilliant.
I would use nuclear weapons if i found i was trapped on"Desert island Dick's" and somehow transported simultaneously to the 1970s and needed to travel back to the present day.
Wow, Stuart Goldsmith's let himself go
smart watches are exclusivley for gimps
+Richard Herring You are my hero.
........................I'm waiting for the funny bit
Nice one, Centurion. Like it,like it.
+Michael Hope your sense of humour is broken so can't help you. but thanks for letting us all know about your deficiencies. Very brave.
+Richard Herring thanks!
