Question: Why most of premium SB colabs like with Supreme or Pidgeon Dunks don't have the Nike SB pillow rubber (that pillow square you can squeeze) in the midsole visible under the shoe?
You’re talking about the phylon. That middle piece is part of the “updated” sole for better board feel. There are also less circular ridges. Older SBs have this sole, and when you see the “OG” designation, 99% of the time you’ll find the older sole. Lot of us prefer the older sole. For me, it’s a better look and also easier to clean crud out of

Purple box isn't the era it's the sail box....Purple is just gr sail is all the actual quick strikes look on nikes actual website there's no purple box era it's same as the sail box era. Purple is just what they put non quick strikes in just gr releases

I have no idea which pillow you rubber you mean in the midsole. Or do you mean the outsole?
