Oh my gosh, Lisa! You are absolutely my favorite podcaster, and that says a lot since I subscribe to probably 50-60 different podcasters! I’ve been subscribed to your channel about 6 months, but I’ve gone back and binge watched all of them! I’m a retired nurse, live alone (except for Cooper my sheltie), and knit and watch podcasts probably 8-10 hours/day! Just wish I lived closer to you and your shop!
Hi Lisa, So lovely to spend time with you. Loved your Blueberry Vodka Lemonade pull over, looked great on you. Your upcoming cast on projects look like fun. The yarn choices are so good. Your yarn dying is very good. Take care, see you next.
Fruity Knitting did quite a long interview with Charlotte Stone when they were in Switzerland and Madeleine knitted those coffee socks. Lovely podcast, Lisa.
Caught up with your podcast today while replacing a zip in my paddle board bag and then knitting on my new wip - Vellichor. Thanks for keeping me company 😊 😊😊😊😊😊
Yes you have given us a lot of inspiration Lisa, you always do. I love your podcasts. Enjoy your knitty weekend, I'm picking you may need a hot water bottle with you for down there, Here in the Waikato it is definitely changing cooler and almost call it cold early mornings. Love your pattern choices and agree with you the knitting books can't be called patterns, they look fabulous "looking" books that just happen to have knit patterns in them. Love the Charlotte Stone book, will try and get that by ordering from our local bookshop.Have a wonderful Easter.
How nice that you said hello to me. I really enjoyed my visit and will come again. Regarding Grace Notes (that is still sitting in your cart 😅) it says 4.5 needle and 20 stitch gauge. I got gauge with 4mm using that lovely John Arbon yarn I bought on Saturday. So I’ll be casting on tomorrow. I’m now thinking about making a pair of socks. I know, I said I wouldn’t be making any more! Have a good weekend in the hills
Thank you Jackie and i hope you post a picture of your Grace Notes on our Facebook page, it looks amazing and if something i would love to knit in the future.
Such an inspirational episode Lisa, thank you, so many ideas to follow up. I knit Jen Steingass Sonrae using Yarnadelic yarns last year, loved both the pattern and the yarn and looking forward to winter so I can wear it some more
Buying a book definitely doesn't count as buying patterns, especially if it's not an eBook on Ravelry. Interesting purchases and I also love the Stone Knits sock patterns....so many to choose from! Thanks for the episode Lisa 🙂
Thanks for the Jen Steingass patterns. I just gave stranded knitting a try with the Woolly Thistle. Now I’m ready for a sweater and I’ve always admired Jen’s work… now to pick a pattern. 😎 and use stash 😉. Yes, Lisa, buying pattern books is the same as buying patterns 😂😂you are fooling yourself! But like you I love buying books so I get it 😎
I love the soft pink yarn!! It would look amazing with the right green! The blue is nice, but looks like different type of tones to me. Thank you for sharing!!❤
Ladies, I so enjoy your video! I am currently doing a test knit for Lesley Robinson of Knit Graffiti. It is a 2 color brioche. I am new to 2 color brioche, increasing in brioche and test knitting. It has been a real growing experience and it is due on March 31. It will be close but I think I'll make the deadline.
Golly that was really interesting. You have quite a bit going on and then there will be quite a bit more to come. The colours ofbthe wool behind you are so pretty. You have a great sense of what goes with what. I have not done a top down colourworked Jumper before, I don't have a huge span of attention so I will probably leave that. I did knit Donna Smiths Baa ble hat one year, well I knit 11 for family who either farm or ski, I really did enjoy that. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, plans and experience. Enjoy your Easter and your trip down South. Most importantly, take care.
Thank you Marie, and its important that you enjoy the craft of knitting, I don't think it matters what you knit, as long as your knitting, take care and I hope you are feeling better.
I also have so many patterns. And I have 20 pages of favourites in my Ravelry. I need to clean it out as my tastes have definitely changed over the years. I also have had that Jennifer Steingass pattern in my library forever. Perhaps you're inspiring me to knit it.....
Some lovely patterns there Lisa. I love the Calypso one you are wearing, such pretty colours, I'm not sure I'm ready for colour work yet. Could you put a pale cream with your pretty salmon yarn, it would look lovely and soft still but give enough contrast?
Very enjoyable podcast Lisa. The neckband on your Calypso is lovely, and seems lower than mine ( which I have frogged, but will start again sometime)) Are you a tight knitter, and did you use 3.75 for the whole garment except the sleeves?

Wonderful! Yarnadelic would be perfect for her colour work patterns.
It was great to finally meet you in Dunedin Lisa! 🙂🧶
Hope we get to catch up again soon in the future, all the best with you new adventure.

I have used mine a few times, its great, really convenient for a quick tidy up

you are braver than me, i hope you have enjoyed the brioche experience.

I like the Calypso sweater. I am making it with Kauni and a white for the body. Kauni is a nice option instead of Spin Cycle.
I'm sure it will look stunning in white, it's such a great pattern.
I also have so many patterns. And I have 20 pages of favourites in my Ravelry. I need to clean it out as my tastes have definitely changed over the years. I also have had that Jennifer Steingass pattern in my library forever. Perhaps you're inspiring me to knit it.....
I hope so.Thank you for watching.
Thanks for the mention Lisa, loved your company at Dunedin
It was lovely spending time with you both.
Great podcast Lisa. I love your Blueberry Vodka Lemonade top. I have just finished knitting The Riptide Slipover....lovely pattern
Thank you for watching

Thank you i really do love this Calypso sweater, it's one of my favorite.
Hi Lisa hope to see you when you are in Gore early May.
Im looking forward to it.
Books definitely do not count. Look like 3 fabulous books too. Enjoy.
So true! They are beautiful books that just happen to have patterns in them.

Hi Lisa love your podcast have you seen the pressed flower vest it might be up your ally in colour work and different
yes i did use 3.75 for the body, mine is actually too big and I might gift it to a friend and do another one.
I will check it out, thank you
Smile, Nope books are not single patterns purchases wink😂
I agree, thank you for your support
Hi Lisa, could change your camera view to show your finished knit better on the mannequin. Can only see less than half of the garment.
ok thank you will be more aware of that in the future
