Im keeping LPS and leather coral ! But i only have 5 coral for now im ont the " keep your time with everything " 😅 and im always scared to add something new in the tank .. im on the project to setup a frag quarantine !
@@davidcastonguay2069 if you have the space, a coral quarantine is very nice to have. Definitely best practice but don’t get too worried. Over worrying takes away from enjoying the hobby. Over the years I’ve learned pests are inevitable. Nearly impossible to 100% avoid them. Instead, do what you can to prevent them without driving yourself crazy and when they do pop up, don’t panic. There is always something you can do to take care of the problem.
@@reefs363 yeah at the end of the day we just have to remember the most important thing is to put more focus on the trend of the results than the specific number. Stability is king in this hobby! I would just do 3 tests once a month and take the average.
May want to practice taking a breather and slow your pace a little, you say uh or um way too much. Doesn't put me off from watching or get annoyed. But it is something to work on. Good content and your doing good 👍
Nice setup , we started around the same time and its nice to see we have the same " progression " keep it up !
@@davidcastonguay2069 what are you keeping? SPS, LPS, mixed reef?

I checked my ulr phosphorus. Definitely a difference between gentle shake and vigorous. Now you got me second-guessing my results lol.

I put about 145 into my tank, say your estimate is pretty solid.
The clownfish jumped, the cat got a treat. 🤷♂️….result nowhere be seen, shame really.
@@johnbrand1893 I suppose that’s a possibility as well. Never had a clownfish jump but I know all fish can and will sometimes do it.
