Favorite Booster/Errant Venture moment was when he took those politicians on a gambling cruise/hostage and fired on Coruscant(iknow thats wrong but oh well) so the jedi could rescue his grandkids from Daala's GA
It shows how badass booster was. The GA could have decided to shoot but he didn't give a shit. Booster and the errant venture are among my top three star wars characters
I was never really convinced that it was an actual super laser. I always took that scene to imply the Vong ships went in with their defenses down because they had been told the ship was lightly armed - and this was after Wedge had transfered many of the Lusankya's guns to the ship. Booster was a braggart, I could totally see him making up the super laser part to impress people in-universe. I remember a scene where he had made a video about how he got the ship for guests on board to watch, but it was edited to make his own role much more important. So I could see him making up the super laser story in the same way.
"Iz gotta get some o' dem ships an', what do dey call 'em in a galaxy far, far away? Blastas? Da boyz'll love dem fings! Dhey'd make a fine addition to our Waaaaaagh! they would!" - some Ork Warboss with an eye for exotic things
“He revealed yet another upgrade he had made, a small superlaser” Hang on, he did what?! What book did this happen in cause I now want to read it so I can see what the conversation after he revealed that was like.
Purportedly he got it from the Hutts (they had the schematics from the 'Darksaber' novel and he had it miniaturized. And he served as Karrde's greatest frenemy!
0:00: Oh, yes, but make it heavily enhanced with buttloads of magitek and other advanced systems from non-Star Wars universes... it would make a fine Quick-Response Multiversal Attack and Defense Combat Vessel, and occasional flagship and command HQ. Bonus if it has two honorable names, one for official ops (maybe Jacen Solo, after the Jedi Grandmaster of some post-NJO universes) and another for covert and unsanctioned yet downright necessary shadow ops (name has to be based on a menacing figure, like Solaria or Homura).
I forget what book it was in, but I specifically remember Talon Karrde meeting with Booster and noting that all of the Ventures turbolasers even those which showed as non functional were locked on his ship. I loved this detail. Were they actually broken? Or is it possible he had illegally refit at that time?
Cracken: "Hey give us that Star Destroyer you took from the Empire."
Terrik: "Hahahahaha... You're serious?"
Let me laugh even harder...
petitioning for j.k. simmons for live action booster

Fate of the Jedi series was truly some of the best in late legends. NJO was good but I still wish we’d gotten a conclusion other than crucible.

It could be something like the SPHA-T cannons that were installed in some Venators. Pretty impressive but not quite a superlaser. ;)
I cant imagine painting it red is actually feasible
If you have enough enemies it is
It wasn’t. For several years, it was mostly gray with a little red because the only color stocked in enough quantity was Star Destroyer Gray.
It was part of the deal with the new republic for the raid.
He wanted it for years but couldn't feasibly do so privately.
Small superlasers are always so silly
Would love to have something like this for the greater Maldrood. Along with crimson command victory ones.
I wish I could have done that lol
Lol about the RUclips ad joke.
Just think about how paint it would have taken
Somebody made some serious bank from that paintjob
I remember hearing about it in several Legends novels.
Any “Tiger Striped” Imperial Vessels?
I always figured you could pick up a Victory I off the black market
A very cool subject I was always interested in!
It’s going 3 times faster
Lmao
Can’t thank you enough for making that reference xD
Ork logic at its finest

That was a Gundam reference not an 40k reference. Even though 40k referenced Char "the red one goes faster" Aznable with the orks...

NJO somewhere
Battle of Yavin during NJO. It is in the seventh novel
Purportedly he got it from the Hutts (they had the schematics from the 'Darksaber' novel and he had it miniaturized.
And he served as Karrde's greatest frenemy!
Thought I was about to be sold an NFT for a brief second there my dude

Thought this was an ad for your patreon ships for EAW playthroughs
This guy sounds like one of those crazy people that has secretly been building a super laser and his basement for the past 10 years.
But was it 3-times faster?
I always loved that this ship was privately owned.
I am relieved I thought this was going to be a horrible video about « get your star destroyer NFT » wow 😅
Eww fuck no
@@CoreysDatapad make an NFT of the next TR release date😂😂😂😂
@@CoreysDatapad I mean that was probably one of the ads running on the Errant Venture when it was loaded down with electronic billboards.
@@CoreysDatapad good response

Doesn't Booster also literally kick Borsk off his ship in Isard's Revenge?
Yes and it was awesome
One of my favorite moments in Legends takes place in this ship: the birth of Luke Skywalker's son, Ben Skywalker.
I wish the Crimson Command ISD in Victory Sub mod were a thing... If so i take over it.
One of my favorite plot lines from the old EU.
First like, first comment.
I'd want the Chimera.
So of course, Booster originally got it in The Bacta War but what were the other stories that it was mentioned in?
Who the hell did Booster swindle a super weapon off of.
Yes just yes
👍👏
this could be a nice small series for disney
New republic rules lawyers about stuff from areas they committed zero resources to... what a nonsense.... as for the books.. grief ..
