Thank you! I learnt a lot.
This video has truly saved my life. Thank you sir. I have started with NVivo and I have found it exciting. Now I know I will proceed to PhD after this.
Thank you so much for this great and valuable job
Wow ! Amazing how you explain … you are really very good explaining.
This is really helpful particularly how articulate the researcher explains every step. I am commencing my data analysis this week and it's definitely going to guide me in the process.
It is great session!
This is very helpful, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi from Türkiye, i was about to cry, even i cried, nvivo a little bit elnino:) but i got some tips from your videos, 🙏
Hi, I'm from INDIA. One of the best tutorial videos. thank you so much for this video. currently, I'm collecting qualitative data, and this video enhanced my data analysis knowledge. please do all types of qualitative analysis videos by using NVIVO.
Great idea. Thank you!
How do you record and collect the secondary data from journals and articles not interview for thematic analysis?

Watch this hope it helps.
Thank you again for your instructional video. However, I have a question. How does the RTA differ from the constant comparative method?
Hello friend. Although am not so adept with the constant comparative method its mainly used in grounded theory, where you sort and organize excerpts of raw data into groups according to attributes and organize those groups in a structured way to formulate a new theory. We use reflexive thematic analysis for other qualitative approaches such as case study, phenomenological study ,and narrative research.
Wow I really like how you make things clear and understable. But I have a doubt, could it be possible to analyze interview questions collected from different sources (like interview from professionals, communities, key informant interview and focal group discussion) all together using NVivo?
Yes. You Just need to label the transcripts differently for each source. You can also perform the analysis for each group and compare it later on.
thanx@@survivingresearch
I dont seem to be able to add the spreadsheet for classification- it is greyed out - any ideas? THanks very much!
Might be a problem with the formatting. Kindly check that out
is it true if i make code first after that, make a classification ?
Kindly begin with determining the analysis approach you are using. Thematic analysis doesn't require classification
Sir, In 23:20 you have self perception under which you have negative and positive, And inside negative and positive you have several codes. My doubt is which is the theme here? Is it like self perception is the theme, negative and positive are sub-themes and others inside are codes?
Exactly. Sometimes we can have themes connected to codes. But sometimes there is need to categorize codes with shared meaning into subthemes and them categorize subthemes with shared meaning into themes.
@@survivingresearch Thank you
What of interview transcripts that don't have demographic information
no problem skip that section
Thanks also, when writing the report will you include all the codes, categories and themes inside the report?
did you not include the transcripts for us to follow along ?
I will include it in the future. Great idea.
oh okay I was trying to follow you step by step . it would be very helpful when learning @@survivingresearch
What if you have a two different interviews
That means two different analysis projects. You will only compare the findings.
Thanks for the reply
