No!
the script review is what everyone should be doing in hollywood
Absolutely! It just makes so much sense. Why wait until it's too late to actually make big changes? Do it in pre-pro!
Interesting to learn about their extensive planning and pre-production process. Very smart approach. Loved this video.
Thanks! What they're doing makes sense and it's highly applicable.
Love that you kept the style of the film in your editing. Made me start searching for easter eggs in the background. This was a great watch!
I think this is one of the tightest screenplays in modern times. It's fantastic and so well done.
Nice touch making the midpoint topic bang on in the middle of the video haha
This film is honestly so good
Amazing, amazing video. Sucks an in-depth look into the way they approached the genre.
Also! Low key, I need that feedback spreadsheet in my life.
I might reach out to see if I can get a template from them
@@BehindtheCurtain That would be the dream! Awesome dude!! Thanks
@@BehindtheCurtain Any luck?
ONe of the best videos out there on storytelling.
Hearing them is so interesting, they raise so many key points to storytelling
What they say about the midpoint is so true. It's necessary to push the second half of the story in a new direction.
This is so great and helpful :)
surprised there aren't more views
but keep at it! This is all perfect for aspiring screenwriters and creators
Loved the film and I’m loving their energy when talking about their process,so inspiring and kinda contagious! 👍
Lol, when I first saw this movie advertised I had almost no interest but, after seeing this video uploaded I thought I'd give it a watch and wow! It's certainly jumped my expectations! Very well crafted movie and probably a modern classic.
I loved searching, not surprised they put so much work on it, it shows
I honestly kinda forgot about this movie lol but after seeing this video, I've realized how much I loved it.

Thanks for watching!
Story is about revealing information at the proper time. It's always about information. The hardest part of storytelling is knowing your information and realizing there is more to be found and how to reveal it.
GREAT film. Smart and unique.
Thanks for this video bro😍😍🤩
Thanks for watching!
@@BehindtheCurtain keep uploading these kind of videos.

Behind the Curtain that would be AMAZING!!!!
What is the film that you used in this video? A whole film in computer screen? Anyone?
Searching (2018)
Hey. Just curious on why you decided not to have the video of the guys talking on zoom be full screen?
have you seen the movie? :D
Today was great . Today was productive . You observed ?
Dude you're high key fit please date me
They lost me at having everybody to comment on their script.
Not a fan of feedback?
@@BehindtheCurtain I'm a afraid that the more you ask, receive and apply what seem like good advices, the more you risk diluting the whole project.
I like the ("smug") principle of giving people what they don't know they want, being one step ahead.
Easier said that done of course, but as a guide.
Tomy The good thing about feedback is it’s neutral, you only make the changes you want to. And the other good thing about feedback is that other ppl are going to catch st you didn’t or have great ideas that you didn’t, which only makes the project that much better. You wouldn’t make changes that you don’t agree with. And most ppl at that stage of film making have a vision and are confident about it. If you aren’t confident about your vision, then I can see one not knowing what helps or detracts.
I edit a friends screenplay and I give a lot of feedback, some is creative and she takes some and leaves some. It’s her project and she knows what she wants the tone to be. If I say it seems very over the top bc I like things that are more nuanced, that’s a creative choice and up to her. But if I find inconsistencies or plot holes, she obviously changes those.
