I just picked up one of these for cheap. Thanks for going through the editing process. I still have my Zoom505 from when they first released. I always had great comments on my sound and other local players bought em and sold them shortly after. I edited the over the top factory settings to my needs and complimentary to my amp. Those other guys thought mine was stock I guess. I've heard plenty of players poo-pooing this for years. I can make this thing usable! My rp3 needed plenty of editing too.
This was my first real pedal when i started playing. I always wish that i had held onto it. Excited to hear some of the tones from it and see how they hold up.
Thanks! I've been wanting to do a deep dive on it for a while now. It was my first multi FX unit and as much fun as i had with it back then, I understand way more about it now. No more running hot rodded amp sounds into my Fender combo.
I'm looking up the RP2000 and not finding anything. Is the letter combo something different? For older gear, I typically stick to stuff I got ages ago, but if I come across anything special I might check out. I have an old GNX4 I'll probably cover at some point. It's a big step up from the RP200.
I bought this pedal new when it first came out. I still have it. The Clean tones and the Delay, Chorus, Tremelo, Reverb sound really good. Overdrive not so good. Drum Machine is good too.
I picked one up for $30 but it had no power cord. Plan to team it with a danecho tape delay for Yamaha keyboards. Going into a 20 watt Dean Dime Blacktooth combo. Have not tried guitar pedals on keys, eager to hear what it does.
@@geurtgort7857 thank you! I literally just bought one on offer up for $30 as well and it too didn’t come with a power supply.. 😂 and I was looking everywhere for a 9V power supply and now I know which one to use

I actually broke mine out this evening and ran through the presets - LOL.
great lesson. Can you please do review for Digitech RP2000 for me. I will be very grateful. Especially the overdrive and distortion patches. Thank you

Agreed. Definitely wouldn't want to use those amp Sims today but some of those FX still hold up.

Can't go wrong for $30! Shouldn't be too hard to find something compatible. I've still got the original power supply.
Watch out. You need a AC power supply. In case you did'nt know.

Just bought one of these for $110 in a store without looking online first. I'm a dumbass. Fuck.
