OMG I resonate with this SOOOO much! I always call it my 'Justin Case' stuff (just-in-case)... I might need the books, the thank you cards, the highlighters, the journals, the cords, the snacks (always multiple, even though I know I'm going to buy a snack somewhere too). I have good intentions. This trip, this time on the plane, the evening in the hotel, etc - that's the time I'm going to get caught up on journaling and reading, etc...
BUT... I always end up taking a walk, seeing the area around my hotel, or being plain tired and not journaling in the evening...
ALSO... It's so much more than the extra physical stuff we carry around with us! It's also the mental and emotional stuff, the guilt, the shame, the thoughts, depression, trauma experiences, everything since childhood that we've bottled up inside and stuffed deep down. We carry all that around every day too.

Chrystal...this lesson hit home for me. I have watched it several times now and was able to put it to the test on my recent travel. Traveling light not trying to plan each moment of my time away gave me a sense of calm that I never expected. Thank you, thank you, thank you😊.

Lesson learned
I need help!!!!!! I tried the packing cubes this summer: they are great!! My issue is my makeup and moisturizers and stuff😂😂😂😂😂😂especially a different pair shoes and jewelry per outfit. I am the worst, I am a packacholic. And sadly most of what I carry I don’t even use. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️this helped me.
