    Hola everyone, my name is Victor, I am originally from Peru, then I moved to Telluride, Colorado and lived there for 15 years. Machu Picchu is worth seeing, it is an experience for anyone who loves history, beauty and hiking. There is a train that you could take from Cusco (main city) to Aguas Calientes, and then a bus to Machu Picchu. The experience is just out of this world...,since the moment you arrive to the Cusco Airport, the food, the architecture, the traditions, the people who live there (it would be great if you know a bit of Spanish so you could get the full experience) and the day you go to Machu Picchu. The place is just MAGICAL. I have been there twice already, and I am planning to go back at the end of this year. I live in Krakow, Poland, and I am Spanish teacher, and I am not only teaching my language to my students, but also show them my culture and my love for magical places like that region and its people. Hasta pronto, and happy day for you all!

    One time back in the 90's I went to Germany with my parents with our family car. (I am here from Hungary.) The car was a Wartburg. As we got norder and norder in Germany we realised that our car was so old-fashioned and it made more and more people wondering where we were from. At one stop on a gas station a man took a picture about our car. We tried to tell him that this brand the Wartburg was actually made in Germany but our German was so poor to tell him that fact. It was a bit funny.

    Learning English is crucial as this is an international language. For me, I learned English as I graduated in English Literature and Linguistics in Bangladesh and my aim is to have my M. A. in TESOL in America. Also I did my education in a kind of English medium environment and had a lot of English courses in the British Council here in Bangladesh. As I want to study in the USA, I have to have know English and as my subject is English so that it was mandatory to learn English. I was a student of Holy Cross college and I did a lot of studies in English there in Bangladesh. I think that not only for me but for all learning English should be as necessary as it is as some countries made English as their second language and Western countries made it their first and foremost language. So if one wants to travel or be educated, one must learn English. Thank you.

    My first experience abroad was in 2015 when I going to do a doctorate in social and cultural anthropology in Spain. I liked to live there because I lives next Pirineus mountains. It was a village called Gironella, where live five thousand population. I miss the forest and the silent. But was a challenge in a cultural aspects. I experienced xenophobic behavior and this is not cool. But at all I loved lived there.

    On the last Diwali holiday, we visited Chotila mountain, famous for the Chamunda goddess temple. It is believed that the goddess herself visits the place every night, so staying there after dark is not allowed. The tour was quite tiring as we traveled in a mini truck without a roof for four hours, enduring the scorching summer days of Saurashtra. Summers in Saurashtra are notoriously hard to bear, and direct exposure to sunlight can darken the skin within a few hours. The open roof also caused us trouble with the dust.
    While on the truck, a funny incident happened to us. A guy wearing sunglasses while riding a bike started following us at some point, though I'm not exactly sure from where. He seemed to do it because some ladies at the back of our truck were singing songs, so he probably wanted to impress them, LOL. 🤣 After a few kilometers, we realized that he was still following us, so we started to enjoy the situation by cracking jokes and having fun. But he didn't seem to have any shame and continued following us. Amused by his persistence, I started recording him on my mobile. After a few minutes, he finally decided to overtake the truck and went ahead of us. I still have the video on my device, and whenever we watch it, we burst out laughing. 😂

      @@simpleman777 Awww you are so sweet. English is one of the most difficult languages on the world and it’s so hard to understand. For some reason English is spoken relatively fast. I’m here for 2 years and the improvement I am experiencing is breathtaking. But I really do listening almost every day. In former videos you can find a lot of advices how to change your habits. I come from a totally other type of language, we only have 3 tenses for example. Be proud of yourself. The fact you are here and suffer from listening like millions of English learners do show me you are a serious learner and a great person. Greetings from Budapest

      To think and speak so fast produces anxious people. And it passes to others; as a result, more people become anxious. With thought and speaking accelerated. Now, who wants to think and speak so fast I think it's a personal decision. This is a bad habit for mental health. It's only my opinion. Grettings, the best for you.

    Please explain about first name and last name. Eventhough i check in google, i still blur about it. I have some friends in other countries. As an example, for indian, the last word is their name. I have a friend in bolivia. His name is the first word. So i call my friend name wrongly again and again. 😁😁😁 My full name is dazuza lara. But people call me dazuza. Actually my name is lara

      Hey there, depending on the country, your first name (your given name - like Anne or Rachel, or Chadler - will go first or the second. But in English your first name means your given name. And the last name is the same as the surname. Again, depending on the country it may differ - either it goes first or after the name. For example, let's say Joey Tribbiani, for English this is the right order, but as I understand, for you in India you would say Tribbiani Joey. Right?

    • @purplelavender8805
      @purplelavender8805 11 месяцев назад

      @@RealLifeEnglish1 Thanks for your reply and explanation sir. In India, i will say Tribbiani.
      eg, ramesh kumar, we can say kumar
      santhi mani, we can say mani
      I just say as an example. Actually i am not indain. I am from Myanmar. 😃😃😃😃
      Mingalarpar = i mean it is a word that we, Myanmar, use when we greet each other. just like a good morning
