    Thanks for sharing the extended draw screw post removal that's smart. I believe the Saturnus Chrony if it's calibrated. Have you done the calibration to balance the sense distance. It's adjusting the potentiometers so the sensors read at the same distance.

    Nice, going to try copy the extended draw mate, but to fire stefan darts with a 12.5kg, then try adding another 10kg outer spring to see what it hits, but I'm going to wait for my metal hammer and trigger to arrive from China first.

      1.5mm spacer to 2mm. 2mm is really pushing it. I didn't go bigger than 1.5 since I wanted to overprime a little bit so the forward tiny push would set the gasket against the cylinder.

    I put 2 stock springs in my hammershot after I modded one for my buddy. With the ar removed and the gavinfuzzy cylinder, it's hitting about 80-85 which is good enough for me. Great job on this!

    • @radioactivesdesigns3554

      Deadspace removal is always worth it to me. Even if it only nets a couple fps. It's another thing to do and get good at. Plus it glued the cap on. Lol and yeah, the gasket I saw a scrap piece of the rubber, and thought "hm" and it worked out perfectly. Foam made the readings all over the place.

      I thought about it. But it feels like a shortcut. Wanted to get the most out of the stock stuff.

    • @rickcupola6262
      @rickcupola6262 4 года назад

      Optimizing stock plunger tube capabilities is viable, too. Cartaya's Ultra Match Series and his 194 fps Prophecy proves that. If you got a 130 fps on your stock PT, then maxing out a SledgeHammer would be scary. I can agree that XPT's are kinda an easier way, because of more peace of mind, albeit more shell cutting. Stock tubes persuade modders more into thinking outside the box to squeeze performance out of their blasters, like efficient plunger systems, lighter pistons, effective barreling and extending draw length.
      You must have Herculean strength, priming a 20kg hammer is ridiculous.

      @@rickcupola6262 it's just my thumb. I can't do it for long. I used to not be able to to it at all, but I spent like a month with those hand press things, and it worked. If I go massive plunger, I'm gonna do some crazy stuff to it.

I believe the Turf one (at least the ozzy one was) is 9kg, but turf springs are notorious for giving more power than the draw weight would suggest 😉 So in theory you should get a lighter prime with a bit more output
