Thanks for continuing to do what you guys do! Couple questions:
- Is 65º F enough to "activate" KHV? Everything I've read says the fish need to be heat-stressed to higher temperatures. Another dealer I've worked with keeps the water at 75+ for several weeks and introduces several stress factors to produce more accurate test results.
- What percentage the population will be tested by UCD and will those results be made public?
- Will fish be segregated by breeder or will they be mixed together? If KHV is found, will the name of the breeder be shared? It seems like this information is rarely made public and every attempt is made to protect the breeder. There is too much money at stake here for all parties involved and when breeder/facility is not made public, it's hard to trust breeders/brokers/dealers/importers.
- What happens if koi that have been prepaid are part of the population that test positive for KHV?

I would love to order a new koi, but my pond is too full! Dang..
Man I say do the $100 deposit and make it non refundable but it would be use as part of the payment if a fish is purchase within a certain amount of time. All that work just to have people flake on you.
