fub's pob is squishier, really needs more investment to pop off, it starts to feel good after you get yoke of suffering and your pair of ralakesh's boots

Would you use the Taming ring on this variant? or even 2? Or would the lower AS of the 2H make applying the ailments inconsistent?
thats something you would have to play around with. if you already have the rings and are swapping to this build you could do it for now and then POB to see the dmg difference between them and some rings with added # to # ele dmg to attacks.
I know ben doesn't do leveling pobs and whatnot, but would it be okay to just follow his passive tree while leveling a new char? Lack of gear progression is a problem for me since I'm not great at the game.
are you dead set on LS slayer? Raxx just made a beginner guide for ice nova archmage which is a very fun and strong build. I played it last league and its the strongest build ive ever played. if you are looking for a fun build to play i would definitely try that!
if you want LS slayer, you can follow fub guns leveling guide while completing the campaign and then swap to bens after you clear campaign.

whats the ascendency order? and can you make leveling guide
i used fubguns LS slayer guide for the campaign and then switched. it will show the ascendancy order in there.

havent played it personally but seen people saying its very strong. definitely could be worth checking out!
Do you think volatility is better than ms?
i asked ben about that in chat when i saw him switch and he said vol is better damage and something about the hits not hitting consistently with ms?! however if you go to his profile he is currently back using multistrike so i would use whatever is comfy for you. seems like ms is less dps but higher attack speed so im guessing hes using it more as a QoL thing to zoom zoom.

I am getting absolutely slapped in maps using Fub's build... Like, I've been playing on/off for years and this is the first time I feel like I got baited by a 'bad' build. I'm guessing you recommend pivoting to this? If I can't make LS Slayer work I may just give up on the league :(
yup i pivoted to this build and felt a lot better! no hate to fub as his build is blasting t17s, so he clearly knows what hes doing, but i struggled with it as well!

@@meggsgg A couple questions: 1) I'm not sure what my absolute first priority should be, my guess would be the weapon and defenses? 2) Should I go for crit immediately? I'm only level 77 right now and I hear that going for crit too early can result in it feeling horrible. For instance right now I'm using dual wielding a Rebuke of the Vaal and Claw as per Fub's recommendation before crit swap.

@@datriadx18 assuming you are talking about staying with fubs build, yeah make sure you dont swap too early, precise technique gives a good amount of damage.
id focus getting some decent evasion, capping resistances and getting up to around 70% spell suppression and take the "spell suppression counts as lucky" mastery until you get 100%.
@@meggsgg I think I'm going to swap to Ben's, just wondering where to start with changes to transition from Fub's version to this version
@@datriadx18 id focus capping spell suppression, getting a 6 link chest piece with high armour/evasion and spell suppression. then a tri-ele reaver sword as high dps as you can afford.

yo, is there any leveling build for it?
I followed fubguns lightning strike slayer league start guide which uses claws before switching to this. You could do the same keeping in mind you will be switching after you finish the campaign. I havent seen a LS Slayer 2 hand leveling guide.
