  • After building this great little car and looking at the real race car in action, I thought front could be improvement, along with the placement of the wing mirrors and reducing mass in the rear wing and of course fixing the steering wheel.
    Hope you enjoy

Just a small constructive criticism, the mirrors don't need to face the driver. He doesn't need to see his own reflection but what is behind the car. Otherwise good changes.

Hi Chris that is so true, what I meant was that they are aligned so he can see what’s behind him 😄

I think the mirrors are accurate. Learning angles and seeing mirrors, I can safely say that the driver can definitely see what is behind him.

Nice fixes; but I can’t get over on how the windshield/cockpit feels like bad designed .. the windshield feeling this loose is kinda unacceptable for a lego IMO

Depends on how many mods you want to make. I don’t have a list of the parts I used that I can easily share but could have a look if needed

Thanks, ideally swapping out the wheel arches with the new ones once they are available in light grey to finish the front off with tiles but haven’t looked in to it yet

@@speedybrickay got some time to think about it, actually front part is easy to separate and already can be a good chests piece, back of the car provides some material for other stuff, so what you need is mostly those ball joint pieces for limbs waist and head. Other than that there re no many specific or hard to get pieces.

    • @01eksii

I actually know almost zero stuff about more deep lego construction, any advice for place where I xan consistently find and buy individual pieces?

@@01eksii you can try BrickLink, its now owned by Lego but it is a great place to buy parts and sets from lego collectors and enthusiasts
