Just bought the Contact and went on a 2 hour ride in -15 C. Some thoughts:
    1. It's very warm - I just use a cheap HH balaclava and it's fine.
    2. There isn't enough venting out the back - the visor gets a lot of moisture buildup and over a long ride I think I'll need to bring a microfiber cloth to wipe it down every 20 minutes. On trails it was better than when I was going against the wind on an open highway ditch. I'm wondering if I need to leave the bottom flaps open. I'm also wondering how it will fare in -25 or colder.
    3. The sun visor is stored in the top of the helmet when not it use, but it's not heated, so it fogs up easily. Basically useless, as far as I can see.
Conclusion - I paid CDN$319, and the more expensive units are several hundred more. If you are a hardcore rider, or have money to burn, go with the CKX Mission, with the extra venting out the back and the CDN$900 price tag.
UPDATE: Went on a 5 hour ride this weekend. Temp was -25 C and it was sunny. I kept the visor cracked open (closed, but not clicked in) and had no moisture buildup issues. It was also warm enough, despite the low temps.
I was able to use the amber sun visor for part of the ride, but it would get fogged up, since it isn't heated.
On another recent ride, I used the visor for the whole ride, so it's not totally useless.
    Ride Safe!

I think the Contact is perfect for more casual riders... and like you said, get a Mission if you are more hard core. I also think the Contact is perfect for most women given the weight and comfort level. Not having a conventional breathe box also goes a long way to help anyone who gets claustrophobic in other helmets.

Just did a few hours in the contact very very warm and seals you in like a vault. The lens stays clear and has great field of view. The drop sunvisor hits my nose and fogs in seconds from the heat off my face but I may have gotten it wet before riding. Overall I really like it.

I like the Oxygen, I don't run the Noise Cancelling muffs inside, it's still very quiet. I don't find the breath guard to be a problem at all and agree that it IS a tight fitting helmet. The light in the back should be on ALL helmets, it really helps see what the driver in front is doing. The temperature controller is big and unnecessarily bulky. They could have done a lot better with it. The other downside is the price, it is over the top expensive and price prohibitive for many... if I were doing it again, would seriously look at different helmets due to the price and the bulky controller.

I’m going to go with the oxygen. Or the new one that was just announced.

Oxygen really compares to the mission helmet. Never saw an Oxygen for price you quoted.

The new ski doo Exome Radiant should be seriously considered. Amazing helmet less $500

I wouldn’t buy the oxygen just for the light. You can’t even see it in the snow dust. Great idea. Bad design. I’m in the process of replacing it with the bite harder. It’s way brighter. If I had to do it over I would go with the. Mission with the bite harder light. My buddy has the mission and wears glasses. It never fogs. Plus, it’s a nicer, looking helmet. Specially, with the visor on the top.

You do not have to wear the Oxygen breathguard. I never have.
