Very interesting video, what are your thoughts on reduced metabolism? I started my weight loss Journey at 250 lbs, I weighed in this morning at 188, whilst I'm still 20lbs ish off my target, I think it is often too over egged the importance of going all in as you say. I lost weight in how I like to define as tranches, this allowed me to diet intensely for a period and then normalise how much food maintains my weight, allow myself a cheat meal and to go out etc. Often times people will have a lot of weight to lose, as I did, now over 60lbs down I fear I would have burnt out if I went flat out the whole time and given up and reverted. I began losing weight in June 2018, so nearly two years down the line, I am able to maintain where I am now and undertaking my next tranche. Many people will not be able to give it their all, people want to be able to enjoy a meal out, much of our social lives revolves around food and alcohol and to limit this would, in my mind place dieting in an on/off state where we must decide whether we want to enjoy; food, socialising or do we want to achieve our goals. Just an example of my own story, I'm not there yet but am happy with the progress I have made, just wanted to raise a different example and story of weight loss. Terrific videos btw
These are some great tips! Well done!
Wow.. I needed that.. it made me think
Happy to hear it clicked!
pReAcH! I love that you emphasize mindset more than only pushing black and white rules of "good" and "bad" foods.
