I thought he would start losing subs there but OH NO he blew up. I complained about how big he was for months until h3h3 finally released his video calling him out. Leafy used to mean alot to me but he cashed out and now makes clickbait bullshit that no one should watch. I think it's fantastic that he is being dragged back to reality and people are waking up to his shit. I had to unsub though because the popularity went to his head.
I liked him back when he talked about random stories from his childhood instead of youtube drama shite. He used to remind me of a younger, more nasal Swoozie.

Awesome music collection! For me, it wasn't the Content Cop (because I already knew Leafy was a bully and that only solidified those feelings), nor was it his poor quality videos (though the appeal in that did wear overtime). I just noticed the quality in the channel begin to drop around the same time as the Content Cop. I loved Leafy's little skits. They just sort of added this almost community feel to the channel. But when those went away, it became more obvious to me that I was just watching this guy bully other people online and none of that appealed to me.
All leafys fans are kids who want to be edgy by, saying something to do with austism, something to do with jews and nazis, something racist, or something to do with 9/11
i honestly unsubbed from leafy before the whole idubbz thing i unsubbed because he started bullying when he first started his channel he told life storys and experiences but then he seemed to start targeting and singling out small individuals and starting unnecessary witch hunts that no one asked for
I think this guy actually inserted an unintentional piece of criticism. The music playing in the background is "Waltz of the Flowers" composed by Tchaikovsky for his Nutcracker Suite. The piece is not only incredibly long and trivial to listen to, but dancing to it in the Nutcracker ballet is also known to be dull and repetitive. So this does kinda equate to Leafy's content lately.

But after IDubbbz video, i really has some kind of revelation of sorts. I realized that not only was he’s content bad but he was nothing more but a bully. Making fun of people using the same format and with the same insults. He’s fans even bullied someone so bad, it made him cry. What i hated about Leafy is that he would never say not to go after these people, i remember he would just put he’s video and he’s fans would come after those guys. He would only tell he’s fans not to bully or go after other people if he had to. Arther that i watched IDubbbz video and i liked it far better then Leafy’s weak response 💀

When it comes to leafyishere, I subbed him around 50k subs, that was a good 3 years ago now. His channel was really different compared to now, mostly because his story time vids and "KIDS DDOS!" series took up the channel. Hell I remember when pyro was being promoted by leafy. Weird how a youtuber can change so much over time.
Now THIS is quality! A channel that actually fucking analyzes the downfall of a popular youtuber and a likable, calm manner without spending the entire video bashing them in a fucking obnoxious manner. Congrats for making this video entertaining and informative.

I feel like if Leafy took the time to enhance his content he wouldn't be viewed as boring. A lesson from this, if you can enhance the content of your channel then go for it because sticking with the same formula over and over will result into another Leafy fiasco.

I think the best way to see how bad leafy is is to look to another commentary channel. Let's go with Pyrocinical. His videos from just about a year ago are nearly unwatchable. That's because even if his content isn't idubbbz level, it has improved. He stopped the all caps titles, the videos on cringey kids, and all the other shit he used to make. I used to enjoy leafy and Pyro's content. Only one of them still has my subscription.

You explain really well how I simply got bored of Leafy over time. I was a fan of him for about 3 months, and used to even rewatch certain videos, like the ones on Stomedy. You explain really well how I simply got bored of Leafy over time. I was a fan of him for about 3 months, and used to even rewatch certain videos, like the ones on Stomedy. Towards the end of these three months, however, few other videos seemed interesting, and I gradually stopped watching him. Then I watched idubbbztv.

this fits to a tea, I WAS a leafy fan and I was also 12 years old now I am 15 and can see his content was shit. idddubz weather he intended to take subs off leafy or not did because as Glink said it exposed leafys fanbase to what good content looks like I myself un-subbed because of the exposure of leafys backstabbing ways. (remember the hole 50 dollars meme or whatever) but if I hadn't seen that I would have un-subbed because of idubbbz's video. so in my eyes Glink hit the nail on the head there, good job.

Tbh, it was pretty much over before the content cop. Elvis the Alien, Pyro and other youtubers had exposed him as the snake that he was. The content cop just added insult to injury.
Weak. An opinion piece based on an outsider perspective is all I'm hearing. Which is fine but it'd be nice to see some self awareness (in the title, perhaps but I'm guessing that's a style thing) Frankly, you said nothing I hadn't gleaned after seeing four leafy videos over two years and the content cop episodes (and I am very out of touch) but I have enough friends who saw something in leafy's content to get that there's a more insightful perspective to be taken on the rise and decline than: RUclipsr makes timely, low quality content - fanbase dwindles because quality rules and kids grow up.
Not that my opinion matters at all but the top comment is you asking for feedback and though you seem to have a good head on your shoulders I've laid out the reasons I will not be subbing today.
