Bringing My Dream Dress to Life

Hi friends, it’s ChenChen! I’m so excited to share this video with you-it’s all about sewing and bringing my dream dress to life. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with old movies from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, and they inspired me to design something timeless and fun!
I started with some pink striped fabric, a little tulle, and a big vision. Along the way, there were plenty of fun moments (like unboxing way too much lace trim!) and a few challenges, but I’m so happy with how it turned out. This project combines my love for fashion DIY, dressmaking, and creating something truly special.
Even the inside of the dress looks beautiful, and that brings me so much joy! This video is perfect if you’re into sewing tutorials, vintage-inspired design, or just love the process of making a handmade dress.

@ I went to school for it and I wasn’t too interested in until I got older and as much as I learned in the three years, I don’t remember much 😂 but I have Faith I bought fabric a few months ago for a skirt that I wanted to try to make and I am going to do it. (Maybe I should buy a pattern 🫣) You have definitely inspired me and giving me faith that it is possible.
