- It's that time of year again! SEC teams all come together to try and get their bowl resumes in tip top shape before the end of the season. For some of the league, they have nothing to worry about.
For the teams skirting the line between 5 and 6 wins, it's a big moment to punch up that shaky looking out of conference schedule and show the bowls what you're made of.
"I see that it says you won the 2019 Championship Game..."
"Yes that's accurate."
"Well it might be better to hold of putting that on your resume until you've WON the Championship Game..."
"You know what, I actually thought I was saving everyone a lot of time."

Actually, it DID age well. There had been way too much hype the whole season long. Clemson probably would have beaten us anyway, but hype never helps. Just ask 2003 Oklahoma (also hyped as "maybe the best college football team ever") and the 2007-8 Patriots.
Aggie fan here. That part was pretty accurate when we all suddenly noticed our cupcake nonconference game next weekend against UAB is actually ranked.

Lol I live 45 minutes from B’ham and had no idea they were ranked! That was a good one! A&M has looked good this year, they just seem to come up short right at the end. Jimbo is doing a good job there, but what I wouldn’t give to be able to play against Franchione again! I hate that prick!

Josh Marsh was a 3 star LB with 4.4 speed and they played him in three games over three years; they ruined Asa Martin’s redshirt by playing him in five games his freshman year; and they pissed off Deonte Brown (OL at Bama) by the OL coach not even showing up to say hi when Deonte visited Auburn (btw even Saban came to my high school to visit him).

My guess is becasue they are shared so much on websites like SDS and al .com (which they are a part of, I think.) So my guess is most people watch the videos there and not searching on you tube.
