Every time I've been to Texas Roadhouse its been absolutely delicious. I used to love going there on special occasions when I lived in the midwest for college. I wish I still lived near one!
I had the opposite experience with both porterhouses from outback and texas roadhouse. It's usually whatever chef you get to grill your steak that determines how it comes out, not the restaurant itself.
The chicken dishes at texas are also phenomenal, marinaded so they’re still juicy after braising and frying. 13$ for a massive and delicious meal is honestly pretty great today.
Me, my little brother, and my dad went there on our last vacation. We had 3 steaks (with the included 2 sides each) and 3 drinks, and it came out to $60. Food was incredible, there's literally no reason to not go there.
That looks closer to medium to me. But, not gonna knock Texas Roadhouse; always had good service and even a slightly overcooked filet was still SO good
Same thing here and as someone who did some semipro photography work, I'm not sure it's the camera. Seems properly white balanced and a bit oversaturated if anything.
Had to scroll too far to find this. I ask for steaks "well done" and get them coming out looking like this. lol Which is fine, but I have once in my life received a steak that was both brown in the middle, and still soft and melt in your mouth. I've been hunting for a way to relive that experience for 20 years.
FYI, A porterhouse and a t-bone are very similar, but there is a difference. The porterhouse has 1.25" minimum of tenderloin on the back side of the bone. The t-bone is 1" to 1.25" of tenderloin.
He doesnt know his steaks at all calling it a "Porterhouse T-bone" since they are two different cuts. Porterhouse is way better with the larger tenderloin.

Thanks for making my queue time just a bit longer with this video : )
100% I've worked at 3 different steakhouses for a total of 10+ yrs, if you don't know how to cook correctly it doesn't matter the quality of the meat. Most restaurants have the recipe dialed-in, it's all in how it's prepared.

Thats why i work there currently, my family loves the 30% off i get for my meals😂, plus i live down the street from it so you can't really beat that.
nice man. happy for you !
My siblings and I enjoyed when my bro worked for Burger King the same way. Not exactly the best, but if the food’s discounted (or free at times), there’s no complaints. It was not down the street.
As a quick note, this is in a EU country.
That’s really good bro!

Also the rolls with the cinnamon sugar butter soooo good!!!
i’m not even that big of a steakhouse person, but even i can appreciate texas roadhouse

Texas roadhouse is awesome. Its fun and loud so kids can go and you don't feel awkward. Steaks are always good. Menu has enough choices for most anyone. Bread and butter is 🔥 its our favorite sit down restaurant
I love when my fam goes there because I love the bread and butter
$12 for a burger fries and drink is cheaper then a good chunk of fast food burger places lol
I can get all of that for like 6 dollars at McDonald's and wendys
@shadow_gamer2527 Yes but this is a nice sit-down restaurant with ambiance. Similar places, even ones without the ambiance like Five Guys, a burger is alot more then that. You can't compare sit down places to fast good its not a fair comparison.
@@Shadow_Gamer12012i can get all of that for even cheaper self made sitting home on my ass jerking off
There's a Tx road house at mall of asia in manila.Went there and wanted to cry it made me miss home so much. Now I go there every time I go to manila.
$33 being the most expensive meal at a steakhouse and being great quality is a fucking dream
Plus texas Roadhouse has some bomb bread.

Some of us arnt introverts and actually like the celebration. You know that right?
As a roadhouse server I can assure you we hate doing the birthdays just as much as the person receiving them lol
We have a Texas Roadhouse like a mile from my house. It always slaps. The blooming onion with the horseradish sauce is the best
omgg bro deadass i would get that and my steak i was set!! so freaking addictive
is it available outside USA?
I went there this past Saturday and I had the blooming onion, I literally couldn’t stop eating it
@@LOBTER3305 those dipping sauces they serve with it are so good
I worked in the kitchen at Texas Roadhouse for a while and one of the best things you can get is the steak and shrimp. You wouldn’t think to get shrimp in a place like that but the bread it comes with and garlic butter makes the meat so much better.
And this is why I love Texas Roadhouse.
It's literally paying less for a better product.
The outback burger 💀💀💀

as someone who lives 10 minutes away from a Texas Roadhouse, I can say that they are AMAZING. I get their bacon burger almost every time, because it is about the cheapest thing you can get, and it is soo good. They always give you a bunch of fries with it too, and the fries are seasoned sooo well.
Texas Roadhouse is one of the best steak chains
fr its always good and the burger is amazing
You used 2 unnecessary words.
Depends on where you go, the roadhouse over where I'm at isn't that good
I had Texas Roadhouse last week. Forgot how good it is, and affordable. 5 adults with appetizers and it was only 130.
It's mine and my girlfriends favorite place to go, 80% of our dates are always texas 😂
130 is actually crazy for 5 people. if my family of 6 ate out when i was younger pretty much anywhere else its about 60-80 plus sometimes closer to 90. For that reason we almost never ate out

Every time I've been to Texas Roadhouse its been absolutely delicious. I used to love going there on special occasions when I lived in the midwest for college. I wish I still lived near one!
Nah bro the free peanuts and bread is all I needed to know to make this place the GOAT
Ok but the Texas Roadhouse rolls are heavenly
Texas Roadhouse has been my fav restaurant for over 20 years. I've rarely had any problems there with food being subpar.
It's a great place to eat at.
I had the opposite experience with both porterhouses from outback and texas roadhouse. It's usually whatever chef you get to grill your steak that determines how it comes out, not the restaurant itself.
Nice try Outback
@@jolly-rancher nope just a steak enjoyer
I agree somewhat. Location and staff make a huge difference in chain restaurants. That being said, I have never enjoyed an Outback.
The grill setup at texas roadhouse is legit, and they get handcut steaks from a butcher. Outback sucks

The chicken dishes at texas are also phenomenal, marinaded so they’re still juicy after braising and frying. 13$ for a massive and delicious meal is honestly pretty great today.
I believe you mean "the chicken dishes at t-road"
Damn I'm usually anti-chain restaurants but you can't beat that burger for 11.99. That steak looked decent too!

Me, my little brother, and my dad went there on our last vacation. We had 3 steaks (with the included 2 sides each) and 3 drinks, and it came out to $60. Food was incredible, there's literally no reason to not go there.
That looks closer to medium to me. But, not gonna knock Texas Roadhouse; always had good service and even a slightly overcooked filet was still SO good
I think lighting and video distorts how cooked steaks look. I've taken steak pics at home before thinking, I can't post this, it looks like crap.
Seriously. Even with lighting issues, that is NOT a medium rare. It's nowhere close. It's what people who can't cook THINK a medium rare is.
Working in the industry, I gotta believe it was medium rare in the window... then it sat for a couple minutes
Texas Roadhouse is basically the only restaurant in the area my Dad likes. We go so often we basically know the menu front and back.
Texas Roadhouse is a favorite for a reason, great food and good prices. The bread and cinnamon butter are a must-try!
Texas roadhouse is a gem I take myself out on dates there😂
Aw
whole nother level of confidence
Same lmao
FYI, A porterhouse and a t-bone are very similar, but there is a difference. The porterhouse has 1.25" minimum of tenderloin on the back side of the bone. The t-bone is 1" to 1.25" of tenderloin.
He doesnt know his steaks at all calling it a "Porterhouse T-bone" since they are two different cuts. Porterhouse is way better with the larger tenderloin.
nice info. ty. i learned my 1 thing for today
They are the same with the exception of the size of the filet, yes
Texas Roadhouse is always consistently solid👍🏿👍🏿
the rolls. that’s all in need
I’m lucky enough to have a Texas Roadhouse right down the street from me and it’s definitely a favorite place of mine and my fiancé. We have never had a bad experience or food and the service is amazing
I've never had a bad Texas roadhouse experience (besides the horrendous wiat times lol)
Texas Roadhouse is just godly. It's a chain that said fuck inflation, fuck profitizing the entire business. They just make great food and have great service.

I Love their porterhouse... Texas Roadhouse is hard to beat..
Texas Roadhouse gives you some of the best tasting food for its price, especially beating out Outback!
ugh i need texas roadhouse
I'm a travel welder, when I go to a new city/state I always check if there's a texas roadhouse nearby because it's on the company's tab. (not saying it's expensive, I'm just cheap.) Salmon always slaps and the steaks are great 99.9~% of the time. Sides are great but the green beans can be very salty. Loaded sweet potato is best tho. Thanks for making my queue time just a bit longer with this video : )
This tells me that particular Texas Roadhouse has a better chef.
100% I've worked at 3 different steakhouses for a total of 10+ yrs, if you don't know how to cook correctly it doesn't matter the quality of the meat. Most restaurants have the recipe dialed-in, it's all in how it's prepared.
Roadhouse has a more defined training program for its chefs than every other chain out there to ensure quality control. Hence why they are the number 1 steak house chain in the US. Sounds like you had a bad experience which always sucks but the vast majority of RH restaurants are on point.
@@richm298 TR was the freaking best when I was in college. I have to admit it probably wasn't even that bad, but it really felt like it because it was the day of my parents anniversary, still I don't think I'm going there any time soon.
Never had a bad Texas roadhouse experience, but video guy got a bad outback. The several outbacks I been too have been slappin. About on par with Texas roadhouse for me. Outbacks brown bread is amazing as well, but not as good as roadhouses especially with that cinnamon butter.
Try Longhorn, especially the ribs.

I worked at TXRH for 12 years. I worked as a dishwasher for my first 3 months. worked 2 years at salad, fry, cold prep and hot prep. Worked broil/point for just about 5 years, and the remaining time there I spent as a meat cutter/training coordinator while also broiling occasionally on weekend nights. I haven't worked there for about 6 years now. There is a reason why you will never see or hear an advertisement for TXRH, The quality speaks for itself.

Texas Roadhouse is the best place to have good food that you can still bring your children to. I have young children and it's pretty much the only sit down restaurant we go to with them. It's already loud in there and no one notices my kids being crazy. The service is always top notch (at least at my local one) and the steaks are always cooked perfectly. Prices are very reasonable for a family.
