One of the reasons why they were so filtered was kuz they are watercolor pencils (aka Aquarell). You should have tested them out with water and a paint brush. Aquarelle pencils supposedly are harder to layer.

She could have shattered the lead inside those pencils. My pencils are prismacolor colored pencils and I would never treat my $11 dollar set like that, hell I don't toss around my crayolas like that because shattering the leads is such an easy thing to do.
She also needs to learn respect for other people's things.
I think most of the money went to the case, you can keep refilling it with cheap pencils or thin makeup brushes.

the LV are aquarell pencils, that you can aktivate for more effect with a tiny little bit water ...
I think the FC, or crayola pencils are different and not the same - with, or without waterthings.
check all these stuff on a paper for aquarell with a very good quality with a little bit water

Cristina the brand isn’t just the case. It’s that certificate and box saying it’s LV approved. You seriously think for 1 1/2 feet of designed leather and some colored pencils the entire cost would b 1000. All these luxury brands have such huge mark ups including LV

The monogrammed item, the label, the card of authenticity, etc. That is part of a luxury brand, of the item you purchase. You don't seem to understand the basic definition. You are paying for the monogrammed item- the LV. All of the other packaging is simply part of it. It all goes hand in hand. So when it's said that someone is paying for the case, it is IMPLIED that the rest of the items come with it. It just boils down to wanting an LV colored pencil case.

They probably blend better using water but realistically the leather case is where the price goes and their material isn't cheap so I would expect the wood fiber to be of better quality also. The colors are pretty rich for the pigment/filler ratio

i feel like louis vuitton doesn't really care about the quality of the pencils. as long as it has "louis vuitton" in the name people will buy.
EDIT: there is the possibility that they could be watercolor pencils, hence why they didn't do so well

Idk, why bother with including the pencils at all, including giving them the official logo if they are a kind of throwaway? It seems to me that they are definitely selling both, not just the pouch with an added bonus.
The pencil wasn't a thousand dollars. Each was roughly $12 or so. The expense derives from the case and its branding. An example would be from Saint Laurant, which also offers a set of colored pencils, without a case, for only $90 (and Saint Laurant has as much clout/status as LV).
The fancy music while dragging down the Louis Vuitton colored pencils made this video even funnier 😂
