They are just such a genuine band that cares for the fans more than they do themselves sometimes. They're great guys too they always come down to see the crowd after and when you chat to them they're so humble about it. plus their music speaks for itself. love from Adelaide

I think its technique more than anything. Back in like 2018 or so Jinjer was touring heavily over 200 shows a year, most tours had shows every single day and barely a break between tours. But the singers screeming technique was super on point, as to not damage her voice and she knew how to recover. She hardly had issues.
Polaris are the fucking kings of metalcore right now. I hope they never ditch their style. 2 banger albums. Mortal coil is a fucking masterpiece and TDOM is something else!
TDOM is easily my favorite thing to come out last year. AOTY in my opinion. But maybe I’m just biased because I relate to damn near every track on that album 😅

Yes true. But to be honest, his vocal style is one of the hardest you can do. I know this first hand how hard it is to perform a whole set this style. Now considering these guys were touring years straight. His voice is still a monster
You can't really go off of Unity's live recordings. It's their fault. They need to really strip his vocals back due to the crowd. I guarantee the crowd was just as loud as him. So in doing that, it takes a chunk out of his vocals. Like you hear is distortion. Which doesn't sound that best when isolated.
People saying that Jamie sounds off, there is a fan video from this same show for Consume where he sounds like a total beast. This video probably used the mic's direct signal without all the reverb, delay and compression that we would hear from the crowd. He actually sounds pretty good when he just screams. The thing is this song is just hard as fuck to sing. So it makes sense that his cleans don't sound on point when the mic signal is less processed
