Huge thanks to our good friend Plini who came to the rescue when Ryan sadly came down with the flu a couple of days before this session and was unable to perform with us. Plini smashed it out of the park at incredibly short notice and we're so grateful to him for helping us out.
Thanks for having us Triple J!!
Smashed it lads
WE LOVE BLINI
Onya lads!
Hope ryan gets well bois, and plini was an absolute ace fill in! 🔥
Not a bad fill in.
wow i never realised how much ryan siew looks like plini
The resemblance is uncanny
Just realised this myself.. Playing a Strandberg too..
Sees comment above.. Facepalm..
Must be doing something new with his hair ay
Am i the only one who's gonna notice that the hit Network is commentating on 2 heavy music guitarists????!!!?!?!???!
Ever seen a band rock so hard the lead vocalist plays the tamborine
Well there was Oasis hahah
Led zeppelin
love it
yeah, many bands ;)
First time I've ever seen a metalcore vocalist bring out a tambourine to slap around and I'm all for it
rest in peace ryan
I feel like Plini can just step in for anyone at anytime.
My mans killed that solo. So clean. If I was Ryan that would've felt like he stole my girlfriend
totally insane
Shes way too heavy to steal not worth breaking your back to roll her down street pal
plini
I mean the solo is pretty basic(not saying it's bad, infact it's sooo fucking fun) when compared to plini's song...
Imagine being friends with Plini and hitting him up with “can you be our session guitarist for the meantime?” DAMN!
Whoever is mixing these needs a pat on the back
Pretty sure it’s the same guy who soho got to record their new album
And a beer!!!
and a salary increase
That plini solo was so tasty and delicious
How are they SO good live?!? Incredible
It's almost like they're professionals ;D
Can happily say that they are as every bit good in concert!
cant wait to see them in helsinki this coming spring! @@ElMarcoHoJ
@@Finlandpro1 Nice! Seeing them again next March, can't wait!
It’s like a song you’d hear at an old school WWE PPV.
Absolutely
I strangely understand this. The chorus just has that sound to it.
Jesus, those cleans are pure, and the screams dirty as they should be. What potential.
I almost reckon Jamie could be the Aussie equivalent to Sam Carter from Architects.
@@hellfirebloodcrossproducti4394 i've just been getting into this sphere of metal and i saw that video of Architects at Reading, and literally Sam and Jamie have been really inspiring to me recently
When Parkway Drive introduced me to Polaris one year i knew i wouldn't ever be disappointed
First time I ever heard them was at a parkway show and I became an instant fan in the first song, so fucking good
Same!
I've never seen Jamie sit so still while performing 🤣 can't wait for live shows again so he can go mental!!!
I can’t wait for live shows again so I can hopefully see Polaris!!! Seen many bands but NEED to get some of that ASAP
I seen these cats with Like Moths To Flames and was blown away such an underhyped band they deserve more attention.
They're metalcores future man no doubt
Same. Saw them with Wage War / Dayseeker / LMTF on Halloween night last year and was just blown away
honestly, i could watch dan play drums all day... he has so much energy and is just a fucking beast
Just found this band and I am absolutely blown away. The vocalist in particular impressed me with how little effort he has to put forth to get his screams out and maintain that timber. You can tell by watching him that he is very very skilled, just as the rest of the band members are in their own respect. I’ll definitely be keepin y’all on my radar!
He’s got great technique! Jamie is in my top 3 all time screamers. Solid as f
find someone that looks at you like rick looks at plini 3:12
so cute hahaha
hahahaha
I'd be looking at him like that too if he was filling in for my band hahaha. What an absolute weapon.
i was just boutta comment this ahahah
HAha i was looking for this comment soon as I saw it
Jake's backing vocals hit the atmosphere of the song just right. so satisfying.
I wish Dan was more in view of the camera, I love watching him play. Has so much energy.
4:16 for a moment I thought the drummer throw a drumstick at him HAHAHA
RIP Ryan
Oh my God what a damn good vocals we have!! Congrats guys, you really sound so nice
Goosebumped my soul
Jamie and I went to the same high school, I think he was in year 9 when I started year 7 in 2007. It was bleedingly obvious he was destined for success in the music industry. Even looks the same after 13 years lol. Proper congrats for all of you and your bands success man !
Thank you very much!
Come a long way since those school assembly and music night performances haha
@@jamiehails3807 Hey Jamie!
I tried to get through to you recently on Instagram as I recently did a Vocal Cover of your guy's song "Lucid" on my channel. I'd really appreciate if whenever you have the time, to check it out and let me know what you think ☺️. Daniel saw some of it through my comment on one of his Instagram posts and he seemed to like it. So I hope you get a chance to see it too, as after all... I'm an aspiring Vocalist and take alot of influence from you.
Been listening to you guys since early 2016. Found you guys through Ryan's RUclips channel and you guys instantly became my favourite band after my first listens of "Wherever I May Walk" and "Unfamiliar".
Currently writing my own Original Guitar pieces which are also on my channel for my own solo project... which I'm looking to turn into a full band piece... that is once I finally find the right people to take over the instrumental side of things ☺️.
I hope to be up onstage performing to a crowd of people one day just like you haha 😁👌
These guys have gone to another level, sounds amazing. My favourite band right now, cannot wait until we can get out to see some live shows again 🤘
Why is this so freaking amazing. Love this song and this performance so much, can't get enough!
When nowhere feels like home , it’s music like this that brings me peace!
I love that crying vocal technique ❣️
Scream*
Been waiting for this notification all day 🤘🤘🤘
Incredible! Can't wait to see them live again!
This is incredible, just discovered you guys recently and the skill level and how tight you guys are live. Incredible performance !!
Jamie’s vocals are so damn amazing!
Something I just noticed: Ryan played the fast part in that solo with tapping. Plini just straight up shredded it. Absolutely insane.
I was looking for that comment! Crazy right?
Most underrated tune off that album. This is tune hits hard!
Amazing ! my discovery of the decade ... so great sounds & lyrics
The audio and visual eargasm 💝
It sounds so good well done lads!
I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS AMAZING SONG !
Amazing on live btw

*I see this as an absolute win*
Such powerful scream! Amazing!
Definitely my favourite song of their new album, Plini absolutely smashed it too!
Amazing!
Love you guys! 🖤
Hats off for you polaris
Can dig every bit of this.
This is amazing.
fuck this was perfect. and i missed seeing ryan there but Plini is such a worthy fill-in. shoutout to the person/people mixing these
Miss ya' Ryan! & Thanks Plini! 🤘🏻❤️
Killed it boys!! So good!
Great ... My Fav track of the album 🔥
Wow this was awesome guys good job! Can't wait to see you live when you come to Minneapolis in June!
In these times we needed this I hope you guys do hypermania !!

this is sooooo clean
YESS BOYS!
Hell yeah I love everything about this song forever 🎸💯🤘❤😍😎
Perfect.
INSTANT LIKE. Amazing performance.
we wanted more polaris!!!
Farrk, vocals like that would have Devin Townsend giving stank face approval.
swear jar
made a fan out of me today, so good!
Just Amazing dude 💥💥
WoW!!!!!! Plini
Plini is mind blowing
Any chances there's a version of this where the camera is just on Daniel Furnani? he is so fucking good.
He has a RUclips account “(Daniel furnari), got live drum cam of songs from TDOM
great performance
Plini brought me here. Damn, what a band you guys are. This is great!!!
Fantastic.
Insane performance, wow.
That openiong riff gets me everytime
see a Dr
@@davidburden2360 😂
So perfectly done. Very classy in the best way which is weird cause I want these guys to go nuts but god dam. So dam classy and fitting.
It doesn’t matter how many times I come back to this video. The second the band kicks in and I hear the mix, I audibly must shout damn….
Hell yeah 🖤 it......
It’s really cool that Jack Joy from Car Throttle plays drums for yee and Marty Mullholland plays bass and sings ❤️❤️
Lookalikes and joking aside! Polaris are one of the greatest bands to get a well deserved following in recent times! The music and talent speak for themselves! Here’s to seeing yee held to the same regard as Parkway Drive ❤️❤️
Can’t wait to see these guys in Los Angeles in march 2022 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻✌🏻
STRAYA!!!
Best song!!!!!
They really just hit up Plini and he was like “yeah I’ll figure it out”
Lol at the first shot of the Strandberg I was like "Ryan plays on Strandberg now ? Wtf" and then saw Plini haha wasn't expecting this, but it slays !
there drummers goes hard!!
PLINI
FMD Polaris you rip so hard. Thank you!
Awesome
This band is exceptional.
i just want a parkway drive like a version
they did an acoustic one when there was only a small studio, but they should do another now that they can fully let loose
@@mattfury. do you have a link to this?
Ibby Tufan my apologies, I was mistaken. In hearts wake covered vice grip.
2:49 when you stub your toe
Fkn Excellent! Why do the J's not play more metal? makes me sad...
swear jar
The station has changed alot .. Back in the day it was the place for music in Straya .. They used to have a special segment called "three hours of power" .. Grunge and alternative were dominating the radio but "three hours of power" was bands like Pantera , Fear Factory, Meshuggah .. I used to tape it 🤣 that's right .. tape 😎 To quote Dylan " The times they are a changing " ✌️🤘
@@7star7storm7 I mean they still do, they have The Racket on Tuesday Night for Metal and Short.Fast.Loud for Punk/Hardcore on Wednesday Night. 10pm-1am.
@@eljosho8184 I haven't listened in a long time .. it was a whole different vibe completely ..it's good to hear they haven't completely gone to crap .. I'm gonna tidy up my spelling in the last comment 🤣 btw I do remember short fast loud from long time ago .. bands like Alexisonfire and Underoath 🔥
Commercial station nowadays
Vocalist and bassist can fuckin sing. I absolutely love this. Cheers boys!
Such an amazingly talented band! And damn I didn’t know Plini had joined 😂😉 keep it up fellas, killing it!
When TDOM came out, this was my least favourite song. But the more I’ve listened to it the more I’ve realised it fucking slaps.
1/3 epic tracks on the album dude
100% certified knee slapper
Landmine
The chorus kinda drags the rest of the song down imo it was one of the weaker ones on the album but you right shit slaps so does the whole album
swear jar
Yeah boys this is tight!
Whoever mixed this is a god
this is fucking amazing, they sound awesome!
awesome tone bass
the whole band is crazy talented, but that drummer is an animal, holy sheesh
Plini came in clutch, now to get parkway drive to do like a version. It'd be epic.
Dang! That guitar intro sounded awesome
