Fun fact: if you have chatGPT mobile, you can use the audio dictation feature and prompt it to translate any English speech that it hears into Thai, and also translate any Thai speech into English. Works great for conversation so you can have a back and fourth almost instantly! The only downside is that the Thai accent for certain words tend not to have exact pronunciation, but it does extremely well. It also defaults to more northern Thai accent, but you can also request it to take on more of a central Thai accent (Bangkok)

Wife & I planning trip to Bangkok. Been watch videos on attractions and food. You must have a cast iron stomach. I notice the vendor who made your chicken and tuna kabob took your money with his gloves on then rolled your kabob. At 66 I just look for things like take but I will search for those ribs That market is on our list of places to visit

the local markets are always the best cheapest and cleanest..if a seller is dirty or cheating the local and other sellers kick them out in a day or less
very different from the tourist places that sell overpriced and often more bad food to a never ending stream of tourists that never come back
