It's amazing, in this year Zakk was already playing with Ozzy Osbourne for 5 years. And there he's playing parking lots during his spare time, to work on his solo carreer. Hats off!
One of the best ???? How many you putting in there to get to one of the best. I love Zakk. I really do. But id say he is the 3rd best to work with Ozzy. I put him behind Randy of course. Also i put him behind Jake. So he isnt even one of the best for the man that put him on the map.

Awesome guitar player hands down ! And a jersey boy playing for the boss ! All you haters. , stop hating , just jealous of pure talent , Ozzy the boss took him as a son at 19 years old ! Says the world about this guy !
Gerald Dixon Cummings yup. Zakk met Ed and Gary in the fall of 1992 for A Guitar World article and iirc Ed mentions how no one ever plays the Sweet Home Alabama lick correctly bets Zakk “a dollar damn fifty” of he can play it right and shows him the proper way afterwards. Someone mentioned Zakk knows one speed full throttle that would be a cool cd title write the music Zakk for your CD called full throttle id feel stupid if hes already done it lol
Because it is a bullshit memo. There are no real rules in music, if you play a lot of notes interesting, and are comfortable with that language, then that is that. Not everyone speaks the same way, some can only speak basic language, some find it easy to speak complex vocabulary. Guitar solos are a way to speak.

For some reason bands come to Alabama and think they have to play Sweet Home. Nothing wrong with it but I wonder if they think it's like our Theme Song and feel obliged to give it a try?? Some bands do it well, like Zakk at Subway, others not so much. 😂
Zakk only knows one speed. Full throttle. I love it.
Zakk should name a CD full throttle
“We’re gonna slow it down a little”. Proceeds to totally shred the blues.
"a little bit" right.

Must be Pride and Glory. Zakk needs to revisit those days.
I agree. Some of the best music he has put out
Love Zakk! Metal to the bones, with a good ol' boy Southern Rock soul- he just kicks ass (still does) with that Rock energy as only he can!
ZAKK WYLDE BEATS ALL GET OUT
@bflo1000 when I found out I was shocked. Just like how CCR aren't real southerners either.
Pride and Glory and Book of Shawdows are two of the best albums of the 1990's.

Dude in the back passing a joint while holding his kid. 🤣
I watch this video every time it pops up in my feed🤘🤘🤘
I like that when Zak says you all like the allman bros then he proceeds to burning the strings off that psychedelic Gibson les Paul custom..

Bass boy was tearin it up on sweet home Alabama
The final solo on sweet home alabama is great, pure rock n roll
I was really glad to see him slow it down...
Not for long tho lol...
I like this Zakk better. More soul and feeling. Just my opinion though. Zakk's a badass either way🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
The unfolding drama between short shorts guy and his girlfriend was a nice sidestory to the show
A mash up of "Jesus Just Left Chicago" and "One Way Out." Badass

Love it!!..this greatness at its best...
That kid with the haircut is stunned in awe.
This is awesome! Kind of poor sound quality, but cool to see Zakk jamming and singing this kinda stuff.
The BEST looking Les Paul I've ever seen. It has been well played!!

Zack's an amazing shredder
Subway should have the “Wylde Sandwich” a little bit of everything on it!!

Gregg never knew a bad guitarist. Jack Pearson was/is a phenomenal player -- and he's the forgotten man.
The good old times: Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt at the age of 26
Matthias Söllner pretty sure he was already in his 30s here
No, 26 is right

Eric Clapton once said he regretted ‘playing too many notes’ in his younger days. Zakk never got that memo! 🤣

FuncoLand!
This is in ‘93? Looks older than that. He was with Ozzy in ‘88.
Id say more like ‘85 - ‘86.
Yeah, there being a FuncoLand dates it. '93 seems accurate.
Who needs 3 guitar players?😎
But listen to the sound that blend creates.

Some bands do it well, like Zakk at Subway, others not so much. 😂
Or every band playing somewhere in Texas felt they were obliged to play Texas Flood.
Or in Indiana, John Mellencamp. It's what people do my man.
Gotta love the Confederate flag Gibson Les Paul.
Was the bass player there at sound check? Did he have the smallest stack?
Back when he didn't suck.
Anyone else notice the price tag on the bass?
