Interesting as the Ultramarines are based on the Roman Legions. Fun fact: Vikings served under the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantium) called the Varangian Guard the personal bodyguards of the Emperor .
If you’ve played the first game, you already know how much fun this one is gonna be, maybe Primarch roboute guilliman might even make an appearance given he’s been reintroduced in the 40k universe
Now that's a long time coming. Warhammer 40K has so many video games but they really should put out more with both action and story. Personally, I'd love an action RPG in the vein of Witcher or Mass Effect.
Same I've always said a game like Mass Effect set in the Warhammer 40k universe be dope. You create your own Inquisitor and create a crew and travel space hunting Heretics. There's of course a bigger threat but basically Mass Effect 40K.
This would be a perfect setting to play as an inquisitor. Perfectly believable for one to be roaming around an open world trying to solve a wider issue.
Personally I'd like the idea of severall skills trees that permits to make Titus either a Tech-marine with many cybernatics, an Apothechary, a Librarian, a Chaplain that can power up his troops or even a Blank, if he's one( of course just one or two at most at the same time)
Theory/my own headcanon. During the time between SM and SM2, Titus was made to serve in the deathwatch. He was quick to pick up on tactics, strategies, and customs from other chapters, guerilla warfare of the Raven Guard, the Imperial Fists' unbreakable defenses, the Space Wolves' blatant disregard of the codex astartes, the martial prowess of the Black Templars(the chain around his forearm honors a fallen black templar homie from his kill team........EHHHHHH?!?!). This would be a great way of adding new skills/ a skill tree. Upon his return to Ultramar, he was "demoted" since the 3rd company has a current Captain. He chose to cross the rubicon primaris and lead his squad with new found fury.
Well Hive Fleet Behemoth did almost manage to destroy their homeworld of Macragge. I'd wager there is a deep hatred of these creatures within the Ultramarine ranks.
It just occured to me, if Titus does in fact have some latent paraiah gene like how the first game suggests or whatever, he's actually perfect for fighting Tyranids and their command structure.
Yeah, it is maybe why the tyranids back off a little when he arrived, his pariah gene disrupt them a little until one of their field leader re-establish the connection.
Unexpected, but incredibly welcome and appreciated. The pre-rendered cinematic part was hype as hell, the gameplay at the end looks like what I'd want from a sequel. Sign me up!
I'm glad they keep Titus and I'm sure they gonna tell us what happened to him after the first game, how did the inquisition allow him to keep on walking the path of the emperor.
That's easy. The Black Templars that were flanking the Inquisitior who picked Titus up put a bolter round in the Inquisitiors head the minute the transport was off the ground (as the BT don't answer to the Inquisition). They then turned around and executed Leandros violently as the Heretic he was. (the Codex Astartes states that if you suspect a Brother Marine of Chaos taint you are TO REPORT IT TO YOUR CHAPLIN not Narc to the Inquisition-that's how whole chapters end up purged over nothing.) Then Titus crossed the Rubicon and went on the Indomitus Crusade with his Primarch right into a sequel.
Probably. I'm surprised the Inquisition let the Ultramarines keep Titus as one of their own instead of turning him over to the Deathwatch or some other organization under their own.
