Absolutely gobsmacked at the talent of every person involved and their capability to spit lyrics for basically 2 and a half hours whilst managing to fully immerse you in the story in such a refreshing way! Honestly, the small screen was worth dealing with for all the amazing genius that this musical has packed into it. I cant believe I have the opportunity to watch this over and over
He's usually incredibly well researched and very respectful of everyone I've seen him interview. But this interview was done before Disney+ released it and I guess they didn't send him a press copy. I also refrained from spoilers in clips or listening to the cast album before this film, because I wanted to wait to see it performed live someday, but couldn't afford tickets. Now I'm obsessed and I bet he will be too when he caves and watches it on film.
Adaora Elliott No but the album is on RUclips, that’s how i heard it first, and the soundtrack is pretty much the whole show. I’m not complaining, I think it’s just impressive he still got a good interview

Everyone who's been waiting for this for 4 years knows that this exactly what we want. No theater enthusiast wants a film adaptation that will probably be botched we want a professionally videotaped version of it with the obc!!!!
I'm getting annoyed by how many times they're getting asked about an eventual film adaptation. Can't we get a moment to savor this release first? Damn. I lost my son, about the same age as Hamilton’s son, 3 years ago. So, as you can imagine, I did cry. Unfortunately the scream Eliza cries out is not the right tone for “anguished mother.” And i lived in hospital with lot’s of dying children and anguished mothers. It’s a gutteral, from the depths of your soul, like your own soul has been purged, sound. To call it a wail makes it sound more like it comes from the head, which Eliza does here. That’s not the sound of a mom who just lost her firstborn, her first precious heart.

People also forget that Newsies was made into a movie just like Hamilton and it was filmed around the same time as Hamilton was (it’s also on Disney+).
In the summer of 2018 me and two of my friends literally planned a trip to London around going to see Hamilton in the Victoria Palace. We first booked the musical tickets before arranging the flight, stay and anything else😆 We stayed for 4 days and we also managed to see another favourite musical of ours: The Phantom. All in all a great weekend. Loved reliving those memories when watching Hamilton on Disney+🤗
That huge microphone needs to be a part of every interview from now on. Also, I got my first taste of Hamilton by watching the first half on D+ last night. It's awesome.
BBC, I just want to say that for me, this is one of the best examples for a lovely person representing a community, and it´s sooo important his work. People tend to love Icons that make his work this big, trascending frontiers, sharing love, and puting other in the first line to get recognition. We from over te world love this man´s work. And Lin´s too, of course. But Ali Plumb is just a gem.
Omg just finished watching Hamilton and it was incredible!!!!! Also I agree hate watching myself on stage whenever I get the videos from my performance but I love watching and admiring everyone else
My bf told me to take a break from Hamilton. I giggled and started singing... After watching it for the 5th time. So now he won't let me back on DISNEY PLUS
I first found about hamiliton though dance when we did York town and I was like what is this this is the best thing ever! And ever since I challenged myself to learn the lyrics to as many songs as possible and York town is now my favourite
Watched it twice already. I was a fan of the music but had never seen the show. I feel like it’s 2015 again and my love for the show is only just beginning! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍🤎🖤
btw, I'm from Italy, and I went into watching the musical without knowing anything about it (I stayed away from any spoilers, believe it or not). I enjoyed it enormously, and it was actually pleasant to get to recognize actors and historical characters 💙
Just think about how amazing Lin is He made Hamilton He can rap He can write any musical Not only can he rap but he can rap any time if you ask him to (freestyle rap) He can act He can sing He changed the world He helped people recognize Hamilton more He also wrote some stuff for Moana And he is able to just talk. Meanwhile I didn't fully understand until listening for the third time...
"A of people who aren't from America say that they never learned American history and I'm like 'neither do we.'" Savage but he's not wrong
7:50 had me dying😂😂😂 ...the “I’m nervous mate”
Just watched it pretty solid good job
This interview is great! But definitely not the first company to do musicals to watch online, but for FREE. StarKid makes their musicals and releases them for free
Maybe they meant Broadway
People also forget that Newsies was made into a movie just like Hamilton and it was filmed around the same time as Hamilton was (it’s also on Disney+).
And it was absolutely incredible!! Worth the wait!!!!
King George is absolutely a Disney Princess! Jonathan Groff has to be Disney's first actor to be a Princess & Prince.
I absolutely loved it! Lin Manuel is so talented. I absolutely love his work! The cast was incredible 🙌🏽
ITS SO GOOD I WAS HAPPY A 6:30AM I GOT MY CHIPS AND OREOS SAT MY ASS DOWN IN MY BED AND PRESSED PLAY
Lin talking about the musical adaptations that are coming out really got my heart racing
That huge microphone needs to be a part of every interview from now on. Also, I got my first taste of Hamilton by watching the first half on D+ last night. It's awesome.
I just finished it. It.Was.Amazing
So happy & thankful that Disney offered we Americans Hamilton when we needed it the most🇺🇸
Once again, Ali with the BEST questions!! 🙌
No need for a Hamilton movie. The play with the original cast is PERFECTION!
Just saw Hamilton on Disney+: Brilliant.
*Me realizing I can watch Hamilton on the toilet:* 👁👄👁
ScoutPaw LMAO
THEATRE NERDS WATCHING HAMILTON: THE VOLUME IN THIS BUSSSSSSSSS IS AAAAAAAAAAAASTRONOMICAL!!!!!!
I haven’t seen any Ali content in a while. Pleasant surprise of the day😊
I just finished watching Hamilton and I’m out of Breathe. Everything about that show was incredibly amazing.
WHO WANTS THEM TO PUT THIS ON DVD
MAH BOI ALI DOING QUARANTINE INTERVIEWS FUCK YEAH! I hope you are safe, and doing ok my dude.
Lots of love from Argentina
I love Ali's microphone in this interview so much.
Doesn't need an another adaptation, it's the best thing I ever watched! i watched it 2 times in two days!
I just watched it and I know what I missed
@G1zm0 that's the thing you missed
Screw a movie I want the 6 year long production of EVERY broadway show! Absolutely brilliant show!
me too
My bf told me to take a break from Hamilton.
@G1zm0 ... that you're wasting time by commenting hate comments on the video about something you really hate.
G1zm0 just take a break from being rude to people.
btw, I'm from Italy, and I went into watching the musical without knowing anything about it (I stayed away from any spoilers, believe it or not). I enjoyed it enormously, and it was actually pleasant to get to recognize actors and historical characters 💙
Sisters are defo princesses now just because they are freakin’ awesome and you can’t tell me otherwise
Just think about how amazing Lin is
He made Hamilton
He can rap
He can write any musical
Not only can he rap but he can rap any time if you ask him to (freestyle rap)
He can act
He can sing
He changed the world
He helped people recognize Hamilton more
He also wrote some stuff for Moana
And he is able to just talk. Like think about talking under pressure without knowing what the person is going to ask.
