Since I saw Dumbledore's Secrets I had the headcanon that Hannibal is Grindelwald's son/grandson and Grindelwald abandoned him for being a squib, even though Mischa was a witch. And Hannibal knows that if Grindelwald had stayed or at least taken Mischa with him she wouldn't have died. He hates wizards in general and Grindelwald in particular for that.

I can’t express how much watching Albus and Gellert’s love story, hearing all about it, the chemistry between Jude and Mads (I am still sad for Johnny Depp that he no longer plays the character) and how their final confrontation ended with Gellert saying “Who will LOVE you now, Dumbledore?” and although Albus walked away from the love of his life; they still love each other deeply and I’ll never stop or love anyone like they do each other. The Grindeldore love story was mesmerising but ultimately ended in heartbreak 💔😢

I was very upset when I found out that Mads Mikkelsen will play Grindelwald instead of the fired Johnny Depp. Because Mads Mikkelsen is an amazing actor and films with his participation simply cannot be boycotted! But, of course, Jude is no less cool!
They should pick mads mikkelsen in the first place instead johnny depp not hate to johnny depp he's fantastic actor it just mads mikkelsen is the perfect actor to play grindelwald
He just seems cold and dull in this role. Maybe that was a choice because of how charismatic and emotional Depp’s performance was. He only seems to have two facial expressions and had none of the arrogance, confidence, and childlike excitement that Grindelwald is written to have.
