That first ride, the dark ride was the craziest thing I've ever seen.
Thanks so much! I know Jonny wasn't so keen on the pace but my goal was anxiety... and it needs time to build up. I wanted something like the same way that Alien builds tension - the anticipation of *something* to happen but it doesn't... and you don't *see* anything until right at the end. The triggered sounds didn't work on this spotlight, so the gun sounds weren't working. You're welcome to check that out on my channel if you like!

@@siralanscoastercreations5163 It's fantastic because I don't know where it's going, I love action scenes, and it's fun like a real ride. I also love how the coasters go up and down just right to feel like off-road. the track's hidden great, and some of the crashes were kinda funny. I can't express enough the praise I want to give this ride, but saying, It a total, EPIC!!
I really enjoy these more story-driven open world style creations that aren't really "theme parks" but are more open-world maps to explore
Yeah, I like that it's almost a game level/story but happen to be in a theme park style/context. I like the creativity of people's story driven parks 😀

Man I need to get a PC now. Been playing Planet Coaster on the Xbox one, I need to upgrade to be able to create a better park. This park is so inspiring. What a masterclass of this game !!

It felt like a whole different game. This man got some creativity. I kinda get why he wanted you to change shade settings, it made the whole story telling atmosphere more immersive.
Thanks so much. Certainly a surreal take - I wanted to create something that’s more like a level in a video game than a park. The reshade settings were only suggestions if the user wants to have them, not requirements 😂 Jonny didn’t get the memo on that hehe but the dusty look turned out pretty interesting.

One quick suggestion - even if you're not going to ride the flats (which I think is fine, because most of us have been on them a hundred times and they're all the same), you could put them in test mode before you start your walk-around just for the added motion/visual interest. That forge would've looked cool as hell moving as you pulled out of the garage, for example. Anyway - this is definitely not my preferred type of 'park' in PlanCo (I prefer things that resemble more realistic parks), but I still thought it was very cool and tip my hat to a creator that can pull something like this out of thin air! Well done!
You’re right - it would have added more interest for the rides to be running. Hadn’t occurred to me to put them at least in test mode when uploading but wish I hard :-)
I really appreciate your comment - I respect realism parks and acknowledge that it’s a big contrast here. The original drive to make the park was to create a video game style level with different themes as inspiration to write music for 😅 just turned into each bit being more of a story telling exercise…

I am hoping for Planet Coaster 2, as well! I doubt they will refresh the game engine, although it would be nice.
@@siralanscoastercreations5163 yes just imagine water parks and transferable tracks on these new Mack rides or intamins the little things that matter could be achieved also having 15K to 20K peeps inside you're park without loosing frames
I hope so… I’ve been playing zoo and have to say that it’s leagues ahead in terms of coping with thousands of pieces that you throw at it. I’m sure that will evolve into the planco 2 engine, so it’ll be a good evolutionary step to the next one, although not ground breaking :-) planco is so old it uses DX11 which can’t really take advantage of parallel processing, which is how processors and graphics card have scaled recently. Which is why it doesn’t really improve much no matter what graphics card you use. Shame but here’s me hoping, with you, that frontier get a move on and deliver! 😅

Is the racing coaster modded? Because when cars hit each other, sometimes they would go flying, with no track.
No mods - all in default in game. The racing coaster is a coaster chain which means it’s five separate coasters set to go off at the same time. The difficulty was tweaking the timing so all the interactions happen at the right time to give the appearance of hitting each other.

Happy to see this park again in a spotlight. Saw in a different spotlight and was super huat. Maybe the best park I saw. Well done SirAlan to have another spotlight, although sorry but was 50/50 bo chap. Good to have new opportunity to listen to that nice music you wrote.
I congratulate SirAlan on his unique creativity. I like that fps is watchable, unlike other parks. I like each section is different, not same same. Coasters in other parks are a bit boring to watch for long time, just jalan jalan around and around - boring lah. But SirAlan’s are like movies and the shiok music. The racing car is AMAZING, best thing I saw and the backstory videos gave me the feels. How come the videos didn’t play properly Why wasn’t all the music here in this spotlight? And what was the whole 2x speed thing about? The reviewer loves riding coasters but shame he doesn’t like other bits so much lah, get through different areas and scenes to chop chop. Didn’t get to see all the nice details?

Haha! ok, I get what you're saying. Firstly, thank you for your very kind thoughts. I'm happy that you appreciate the opportunity to listen to the music again! I think that the animated videos didn't play properly because of a possible issue with the game engine, or the graphics card. They were encoded to VP9 WEBM and maybe his graphics card or rest of the system didn't like it - the RTX1080 is a few generations out of date with its hardware VP9 decoding. It may have been reshade slowing the system down - don't know. I think the video played at a slower speed so the music outpaced it. As for the other music - I think perhaps the park was opened and then the music added to the media folder and each ride's track was reconnected, which may explain why the rides played but none of the music or triggered speakers in the park worked. It's a shame but not a showstopper. As for the other bits, then... 🤷♂ 🙂

As a matter of fact, there was going to be another two videos, one for the Oasis and one for Citadel. They were going to lead on directly from the story in the videos that were posted. The reasons I didn't finish them off were that: a) I thought it might be too much to put in if the park did get spotlighted. Not everyone would appreciate such a long amount of video content in a format like this... and b) it would have been a lot of work and I wasn't sure at the time if this would ever be seen by many people; I concluded I'll stick to finishing on Swampco. I may finish them off one day...

Ok that's it, i gotta play Madmax for the who knows times ive played it. I need to play it again after seeing this. it's just too good of a game not to. This park was so good.
Thanks for your kind comment! I played Mad Max and it's a great game. Definitely had some mad max vibes in mind when creating that ride for sure. If it wasn't for the out-of-date planco engine, I would definitely have build up a big gas-town style city but had to settle for something a bit more manageable hehe.

This video is the proof why it's better to visit the parks on your own instead of watching the
videos. + side: this video is very well edited and makes the park actually look good.
Downside it's not a good park except of a few buildings. The pathing work sucks, the few
areas are so spread out that park guests don't bother to reach it and are also quite small and the rides and coasters are far from realistic, good and smooth. Visit the parks from the videos from this channel and your eyes will be opened.

Oh yeah, that's a useful comment really. Do you actually own the game or make your own videos or are you just roasting people's videos and creations for the sake of it? The video is edited, of course it is. But you can see that most of the pathing is just walked on in continuous mode. The setting of the park is not meant to be totally functionnal since it's supposed to be a wasteland of sorts, of course you can't see many guests and some rides aren't accessible, it's part of the visiting experience! Gosh, people, you really need to learn to get your stick out of the mud or wherever you put it and enjoy the game and the creations...
