It's weird that the LT used to be the top-of-the-line model 15 years ago, but now it's almost the bottom of the line. Now to get the same bells and whistles you could get on an '04 LT, you have to go to the LTZ.
Wait no hitch 2 wheel drive and now the LT is low trim. I had a old 13 Silverado and it was hooked up with everything. Now I own a 2020 Silverado custom and it seems better than the LT other than the headlights.
it's a base LT. they come well equipped if you get some packages thrown in. I personally don't like chrome so I opted for the RST trim package instead of LT

I’ve got a 2020 lt with the 3.0 duramax but mines way more loaded. Power seats .. Heated seats and heated steering wheel. Trailer light check package and then some. Weird basic package this truck has .

I find the hood and view out of the Ford much better. The long square hood of the GM is kind of hard to see around and you pretty much look at the windshield wipers on the lower portion of the windshield.
6:45 I can tell has a 3 starting in the VIN Number only some are sadly Built in America and they don't build trucks in Canada anymore!Even a Old British Made Land Rover Defender,Discovery,and Range Rover has 💯x WAY BETTER QUALITY than a Mexican Made Chevy and GMC especially Ram trucks and better Reliability with the Old British built Land Rover Defender,Discovery,and Range Rover now sadly some of the Modern Ones especially the Defender and Discovery quality gone completely garbage made in Slovakia which killed the quality and Reliability of their cars because NOT MADE IN BRITAIN like Chevy and GMC ALL OF THEM USED to be BEST QUALITY because MADE IN AMERICA and now their quality gone trash because Made in Mexico even a Old Land Rover Defender has 💯x better quality and Reliability than a Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra Made in Mexico!Also other GM Vehicles made in Meixco are Crap Quality and Reliability!Only GM Trucks I like are Crew Cab HD Trucks of the Silverado HD and Sierra HD because ALL MADE IN AMERICA in Flint Michigan!Sure Old Land Rover Defenders made in Britain are a bit flimsy but Mexican Made Silverados and Sierras especially Rams are completely CRAP QUALITY same reason new Land Rover Defneder sucks becuase made in the MEXICO OF EUROPE SLOVAKIA!
MrHuckabst The older GM trucks are built much more solid than new ones. My dads 2016 Chevy suburban was built in Arlington Texas and holds up pretty well. I don’t how I feel about the silverados because of their Mexican sourced parts.
Wish I saw this first, I recently purchased this exact truck with no vents in the back, besides the radio this is about as basic as a truck you can build. I've always been a Chevy man, I absolutely hate this crap. First chance i get to trade it it's gone!

lt is middle level.... custom and W/T are lower level LT and RST are middle
I bought a new GMC SIERRA SLT X31 last December. I like it other than not enough interior lighting when you open the door at night.

All 5.3s have afm. I think thats an LS, not an LT
The LS trim does not exist with this newer body style.

I personally hate GM with how bad they are with quality currently. Their newer post 2009 vehicles aren’t reliable either. Ford is better imo.
