There are many instruments in turkey becouse of our origins! Our territories are governed by persians, ancient greeks, arabians etc. After 1071 turks came the anatolian and we are in now. In these cultural background. North has different taste of music, east has different and west/south different. This is a small story but during these years turks start to use different instruments to get all notes. Quarter notes half-quarter notes which only uses iran and india.. our most string instruments have no flat. Thats why we can get unusual notes. If you pronounce the following phrase "Dougha Ichin Chal" in English then you have said it right in Turkish as close as possible.
